Game Cube Games Question...

Just bought a Game Cube. Since I haven't a clue about which game cubes are the daddy, but I do like daoc I was thinking maybe you guys would probably like similar games...

I'm looking for some decent 2-4 player gaming action for late playing with mates, (we like car/football/quake style and combat fighting style ones)...

What can you recommended as your top favourite 3 and why?

I hear the Mario fighting one is pretty good, Not sure of name but it got all the old nintendo stars! Not really sure other than that!

Thats the one mate Got all the classics in there like Zelda, Donkey Kong and the likes

Btw the resident Evils is very good, But on single play

Smash bros for the 4 player, Soul Calibur 2 for the 2 player, and monkey ball 2 for 5:30 in the morning when anything else is too complicated and monkeys hold unending comedy value

Super Smash Brothers Melee is the best party game for GC imo.

Else Soul Caliber 2 is probably the best 2 player combat game.


I would recommend www.cd-wow.com for game shopping, don' know if they ship to your country, but they have great prices there imo.

i always checked what games might actually be fun to play.. thus giving me a hint or a reason to actually buy the platform.

I wanted a cube because they are dirt cheap and it was recommended to me by a gaming friend of mine who has an x-box/ps2 and cube as an excellent 4 way multi play platform. 80 quid was very cheap and I had already been on numerous websites looking at screenshots etc etc... All I wanted to know was what cube owners favourite games were /shrug

Highly recommended Def Jam Vendetta and Burnout 2 as great multi play games. I'll look more into the others you have suggested That Monkeyball is calling me like, everyone of my mates who has a cube says its great.

Resident Evil 4
Mario Kart Double Dash
Starcraft Ghost
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Super Monkey Ball (any one of them will do)

I'll add more if I remember them.

That’s why I bought the Cube, as a 4 way mutiplayer cheap console with unique games it's my favourite

Xbox is a great console but not what I was looking for tbh

About hte unique games I would recommend you to take a look at Pikmin and offcourse Zelda. Another favorite of mine is Eternal Darkness.
