The Square Enix bundle on HB is also very much worth it. Saves €170

Was looking to buy Hearts of Iron III because I just fancied a ww2 strat game in that style.

But looking at the DLC, and there's no 'golden edition' it'd work out to be a shed ton :(

you dont need most of the DLC, just the expansion packs
for the motherland, semper fi, their finest hour .. are the 3 addons

rest is just fluff

If you mean the big bundle;

25 times "Personalization" mentioned.
11 times "character".

There's the cost. Cosmetics. It's one of the greatest inventions in DLC in games, it's not necessary(you don't need it for multiplayer to work etc), but it sells.

I can not believe that people actually spend money on shit like weapon skins/character models/hats etc in games, the mind boggles.

I mean all of it. Like eight quid for the original cod. Extra for uo. Come on a fiver for both together maybe. Great game but not much of an inline community left for the multiplayer side.

I used to love pm cod tho hehe

I (re) discovered OpenTTD on friday. I must have played 20 or 30 hours over the weekend. I feel like shit, but my virtual train empire is stupendous :D

and its free!

Evil bastard, now I'm getting sucked into this again. And I know I'll do the same as I used to, and forget something crucial every time I build railroad and end up with blood on my hands

I played OpenTTD a couple of years ago since I used to play the original Transport Tycoon all the time, now i've been reminded again about it I snagged the latest version to continue playing.

there's all kinds of stuff for it online too. I downloaded a thing in-game that placed the whole countryside in to "night mode" so everything is dark. Makes it quite difficult :D

Yeah origins is good, if you like those baldurs gate whatnot style games. I've never really finished it as it is a long investment in gametime and something always comes up, but any time i start playing i have fun.

I completed origins was good. But not I prefer open world rpg rather than the dk this scene. Now this etc etc.

They always feel so limiting now.
