Duly noted, all I'm getting at is having used it with a shit Sagem Sky Router and a Shit Thompson O2 router I've had the same issues as you which went away using that guide. On a decent enough Sky Netgear Router they never existed. You're bound to get more shit now with the increased traffic to the platform but if you get it all the time it can't hurt to give it a go.

Have you tried the TCP mode for example?

It's just easier for me to disable what I need to disable before I log in. It's rare I need to be online in Steam.

Oh dear lord there are still UT servers in the UK and Europe. This coupled with QL could cause time consumption issues. Got my arse handed to me on a plate in my first multiplayer in about 7 years though.

My ability to sniper headshots used to be second to none, I could do it like flick railing back in the day. I have indeed grown weak. Although if I had the time I could probably get most of the skillz back (I definitely do not have the time I used to for these games, sadface.)

No doubt mate, I've got to admit that I caved this time mostly because it's £10 off a launch title and because Gearbox are releasing the new character class shortly after launch I don't want to wait to get it for say £15 then be sitting there after release thinking "that class looks awesome... pfft £10 unlock, wtf"

The Borderlands DLC for the first game was actually playable and added some extended life to the title so they'll no doubt do that again but I'll pick those up cheap in a steam sale long after I'm finished with the main title when I get a twitch that I've not played Borderlands 2 in a while.

Bought the doom pack, couldnt resist for £4.99 can always get Jdoom for the older games aswell

It was alright at the time, but doom 3 rather showed that the concept should stay in the past.

Well, as far as my own preferences of games go, but for some reason i've rarely been able to play through FPS game storylines and prefer the PVP in that.
