Got it. In terms of gameplay it's behind the original by some way IMO. Played until mid-way until the second zone and I've not gone back.

Against all the reviews I think it looks, feels and plays like a console game.

Yeah, it's not as good as 1 but still one of the best games this year. Very playable and good value for money with replay value.

You're old, so I'm guessing not, but doesn't Bethnal Green have a hospital?

It looks fairly standard but it's effectively $1.11 which is like £0.72.

The catch is that you're only getting the game for $1 if they reach 10 millions pre-orders. If they don't reach that target your $1 cash goes towards a full price payment. They launched this ages ago and still only have 18,000 preorders. I'm not holding my breath.

That was not my understanding. To me it came across as:
  • If they get 1m pre-orders at $1 then: 10% of $1m ($100k) goes to Amnesty and the retail price for everyone who doesn't pre-order becomes $1 (they pocket $900k).
  • If they don't get 1m pre-orders at $1 then: $total of pre-orders goes to Amnesty and the retail price for everyone who doesn't pre-order goes up to $30 (they pocket whatever they can $sell afterwards)
From website said:
2. PRE-ORDER

2.1. In the period from the Pre-Order Start Date to the Release Date, Seller will collect orders for Keys to the Game on a PRE-ORDER basis at a price of $ 1 plus any additional costs associated with the generation of a key and an electronic order execution.

2.2. The buyer must pay in advance for an order.

2.3. If by Release Date Seller will collect 10,000,000 (ten million) of orders, the final retail price for the Key for the Game will be offered $1 for Buyers. In this case, Manufacturer (according to his declaration) will transfer to charity an amount of 10% of the total amount of orders made in the sale of the PRE-ORDER.

2.4. If the condition is not described in the previous section, the final selling price in the ordinary (normal) basis will be $ 33.90 and the total amount received by the Manufacturer of pre-orders (less the costs incurred by him) will be transferred by the Manufacturer to charity (in accordance with the Manufacturer\'s declaration).
If I'm wrong then fair enough but they $1 still goes to Amnesty.

Been playing Dungeon Defenders a lot now, a co-op tower defense game. But this game is not a normal tower defense game, you play a hero of choice(4 now, more to come) who you can level up and get items from enemies that you kill or that you're tower kills!

Only at 11,99 euro :D

Anyone heard anything about MW3 deals? Tempted to pre-order Amazon, but I remember Asda doing something silly like 25 quid last time and don't want to be shortchanged
