Come one, if you're going to comment on this read up on all of it, the man had a massively damaged heart and liver (long term alcohol abuse) the first autopsy wrote it off as a heart attack. The second autopsy found large amounts of blood in abdominal cavity due to the above conditions the debate now will be was this caused by the fall?

Not actually true - he had signs of atheroma - the age/diet related buildups in the artery that we all start getting from about 8 years old but he didnt have it acutely - same for liver - while not 100% top notch he wasnt in imminent danger of death from either of those.

If you find a haemorrhage after someone had been hit it would be rather unlikely not to link the two things.

For the record both autopsy's found a lot of blood in the abdominal cavity but they differ over why it was there.

What I find really odd is that the results of the second autopsy were sat on for a week...

Also Jaberwocky the second autopsy explicitly states that his alcholism was not a contributing factor.

A week isn't long when autopsy's and coroners are involved, the full details will be given out once the coroner has made his/her ruling in an open coroners court.

As for the lass who claims to have received a policed beating, I just saw the video footage, the the first slap doesn't look intentional and seem more of reaction to ward her off, she comes back moments later shouting aggressively and lunging at the officer. Then in the full glare or 6 different paparazzi cameras the officer warns her to step back before applying a blow to her leg which is a standard crowd control procedure, what's the issue here besides her selling her story or are people just trying to start a to start a witch-hunt?

The banks and the politicians must be loving this, all the attention is off them as everyone crawls over every last photo taken in the week after the G20 looking for alleged policed brutality.

Personally I stand firmly in the Environmental camp, I'm a Environmental Geologist. But the recent alliance between different environmental groups with half a dozen G20 political and direct action groups focused on half a dozen further non related issues has made me reassess which groups I support or are willing to represent.

There are bigger issues worthy of the press coverage beside people vocalising their grudge against anyone in a uniform.

hehe a protestor at an anti capitalist protest is trying to capitalize on her experience.

Something makes me think she was not there to support the reaons for the protest, but was maybe there to cause problems?

I think the biggest issue from this protest was the police hiding their ID numbers, which they must prominently display to ensure they can be identified. To use an argument they tend to parrot against us, 'if they have nothing to hide they have nothing to fear'.

Yes - regardless of our feelings towards the G20 protestors when the Police start hiding their identity we are all in trouble!

The problem with the hidden IDs is it raises questions over why they did it - were they thinking - I know I can beat up some protestors as noone will care but just in case I'll hide my ID?

Also worrying is that the senior commanders present on the day must have been complicit with it - in the video of the guy who struck Tomlinson he goes straight to his commander after the strike.
