Fucking unbearable heat

This fucking heat is just unbearable. It didn't go below 29 degrees in my room all night. And it's set to go on and on and on and and bloody on....it never ends...they're talking about it getting slightly cooler (but still hot) on Thursday, then just going right back to being obscenely hot like today again. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't function at all. The endless, crushing heat wrecks everything. Now on my 3rd. successive day with no sleep at all. This weather is a nightmare.

2 members of staff in the shop I work out passed out yesterday cuz the air conditioning barely works ;d it was just as hot inside as out, probably worse

The Air Con in our office is not too bad atm, we've all bought desk fans have have sort of a wind tunnel effect through the office

Weather is due to cool down from tomorrow, 25c during the day is alot more bareable thank god. I was on my way home from the cinema at 1am this morning and it was 25c outside then, fucking crazy.

lol, buy an air con. my unit cost me 220 quid and keeps my room at a cool 17 degrees, if the heats causing you that much bother, seems like a worthy purchase imo ;e

the main problem i have with the sun and hot weather is oversleeping a little i also fall to sleep on the bus on the way home from work so have to try make sure i dont miss me stop

I have just been on top of a vessel outside with full rubber chemical suit on with Breathing apparatus on now thats fucking hot!!!!
On plant it's 57 c with all the reactors running!!!

I hate being cold, I find it EXTREMELY hard to warm up even if I'm dressed in fleecy pyjamas under my 15tog quilt with a hot water bottle!

I agree the heat can make things uncomfortable but like so many other people have mentioned in so many other threads in OT there are loads of things you can do to at least ease some of it..

Svart, my mum used to fill a hot water bottle with ice water and lie with it behind her neck at night and it helped cool her down enough to sleep... I feel sorry for you that you are taking it so hard

Just been down to the shops, the digital thermometer sign over the vets is showing 34c and local radio is saying it will get even warmer before 5pm. Christ I can't take much more, pointless showering as 10mins later you are sweating again.

30c is standard is most places onyl dropping to 25c at night. in corfu a few years back i remember it reaching 45-50. now thats when you should be complaining. i passed out in a cafe for about 10 mins
