30c is standard is most places onyl dropping to 25c at night. in corfu a few years back i remember it reaching 45-50. now thats when you should be complaining. i passed out in a cafe for about 10 mins

The problem with that is here in the U.K. people don't have easy access to pools during work days, most offices have no air conditioning and alot of people don't buy AC units for the house because the U.K. weather rarely calls for it. They aren't cheap and you are lucky if you will need the thing on more than 5 days a year. For a normal family there are just more important things to buy, like shoes for your kids feet and food for the table.

This fucking heat is just unbearable. It didn't go below 29 degrees in my room all night. And it's set to go on and on and on and and bloody on....it never ends...they're talking about it getting slightly cooler (but still hot) on Thursday, then just going right back to being obscenely hot like today again. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't function at all. The endless, crushing heat wrecks everything. Now on my 3rd. successive day with no sleep at all. This weather is a nightmare.

okay, even though it is sill blisteringly hot, there maybe some solice on the way, on the south coast (where i live) the temperature has droped more than 2 degrees in the last hour, clouds are beginning to form, and a steady and brisk breeze has appeared travelling in a northish direction.

I love being inside in Winter looking outside while I'm nice and warm, and walking in snow is lovely... Problem is all we get over here is rain, hail, sleet and slush!

I get into work looking like a drowned rat and I come home from work feeling like one as well!

I love Summer... no trying to fight with an umbrella that has blown inside out, no bother with trying to get clothes dry cuz you can't hang them outside in the sun, no miserable colds, no hazardous driving so less traffic jams... I could go on and on!

Sums it up for me aswell, nothing better than going out at 3 in the morning and making snow angels with just boxer shorts on tbh.

I hate sleeping when there is snow we dont get enough so I like to enjoy it when its here what ever time it is.

I gotta admit, I like it when its like 4am and its snowing - proper snow thats settling on the ground. Everything so quiet. Funny how snow seems to muffle sounds so that the only thing you're aware of is your own heartbeat and your face tingling from the frozen water.

A perfectly smooth untrodden on gardens with 6 inches of snow in it.

Ah, but for me thats where it ends.

Impacted ice can make driving, or even getting out of your parking space a nightmare. You slip on black ice and fall on your ass. And slush is horrid.

And when have we had a white Christmas in London ? Years ago.

Last year I went shopping with my wife to Tesco's now usually when I am in Asda I can put my weight on the back of the small trolleys and freewheel up the aisles.

However it had been snowing and it had all melted, I was in the car park and I decided to free wheel as soon as I took my feet off the floor that was it I was spinning through the air with the trolley. I ended up flat on my back in a massive puddle with the trolley on it side beside me. Worst thing was the taxi queue was full with taxis and people getting into them and they all pointed and laughed :-(

Was lovely and cool here this morning after bit of rain and cloud but the last hour it has mostly cleared away and the sun is blazing. It has jumped from 16c to 25c in just over an hour and the humidity has gone through the roof
