And almost every one of those things has no effect whatsoever, or only works for about 5 minutes. Put ice in front of/behind the fan? Yeah, it has almost no perceptible effect and the ice completely melts in 20 minutes because of the heat. To name but one.

So air conditioning does nothing... thats why millions of people around the world, including those in countries a hell of a lot warmer than here, rely on it to keep them comfortable both at home, at work on even in cars?...

Wrong. If that was the case I'd complain about the cold, and I don't. As I've said, and it's the truth, a lot of people find the very hot weather we're currently enduring to be very unpleasant. Just deal with that. Your opinion is not neceesarily everyone else's.

I'm not saying my opinion is the only right one, and I am not saying you are lying when you say you find it extremely uncomfortable in this heat. What I AM saying is that when people provide plenty of ideas to try and help you and you choose to ignore most of them, continuing to post on here about how unbearable it is you appear to just like to whine about the situation.

The weather is hot, you seem unwilling to help your own situation. Like you said yourself, just deal with that.

Ignore? I tried 'em all, they didn't work. Only thing I've not tried yet is aircon and that's pretty expensive for anything that's worth getting (plus just about every aircon unit in the country is sold out. Y'know, because so many people hate the heat).
