if yes, then contact them again and ask if they wanna hang out, go shopping or watch a film or whatever it is you usually do with that person.

Most definately yes. Here at uni we have like 85% women and well, I share a flat with 6 women so if there was always some kind of sexual tension, I'd be mad by now ^^

Sure some people can't figure out a difference but hey, there are always totally insensitive people Personally I have no problem at all with "just being friend" with a women. It's not like I wanna see her nakid, just cause she eventually looks pretty, heh.
