Not sure if many ppl noticed this come in with Live Version 1.82a Release Notes, but this is very useful for complete newbies:
A Hero Desires a Sword - Raymond, in Cotswold, will ask players between levels 5 and 9 (who have chosen an advanced class) to help him in dealing with a bully.
You get good armour which will con blue to about lvl 13 and can really help new players in those tricky early teens. It's 6 pieces of +stat armour - especially usefull for starter tanks, though it seems that Cata Instance Dungeons are dropping alot more ROG stuff recently.
It's a very quest to go to a nearby dungeon and is given out at 2 levels about 5 levels apart - so 2 free sets of decent armour. All you do is go to these 2 dungeons and run through - you don't need to kill mobs (think its called Demon's reach or something)
If I remember right there's another guy stood next to him (? Stephen) who gives a similar quest, but don't quote me on that.
