PVE servers are fine I guess you still get to destroy peoples villages etc you just don't get the luxury of killing people anywhere you want.

That's why I will go to PvE no matter what, and come play with the FH guild as well if it ends up on another server type. I really prefer to get the best of both worlds.

Well that all depends, some people who voted for PVP said RPPVP wouldn't be bad, so i'm guessinbg a lot of votes could be "recounted"(go florida!) to our advantage

We'll make a final poll a few weeks before release as it seems people misclicked and stuff, so make up your minds meanwhile..
If people don't want to go majority, they can make the same guild on the other server type. So people can go back and forth and still find a Freddie.

Considering the amount of players they have calculated with, I think there will be way more than two of each type. Also there should be different language servers.

That is crap! And thats because im comparing it to DaoC servers and the probability of it thinning out (useable phrase?) after a while. Rather a huge game world with sh*tload of people than lots spread out. But i guess its the problem of what their servers can handle.

Wonder how many DAOC old timers still about ( x Hib excal ranger/shield hero). Celtic Fist 4tw
Any objections to letting a old timer joinging you guys when AOC is up and running? Got beta key for 1st may too to give the game a look see etc hope i can get it to run smooth.
Put my vote down as PvE as it sounds pretty much like daoc rule set, pvp when ya want, pve in safty or go pve in danger zones. being a family man i think it will suit me better coz of the afk's

im a follower of good ideas, will follow bad ones too, but expect me to say told ya so after lol
Been semi active in Lotro for a bit, played creep more than anything, got to rank 7 BA etc but the book 12 turned game into a a mess with freep zergs all over on Evernight.

I think we need to wait till they publish the rulesets for the server types - so far we have gone on the basis of other games but it could be a lot different in AoC.

Remember that AOC is expected to get 500k initial subscribers world-wide in the first month. Assume atleast 50% are from North America. So possibly 200-250k subscriber estimate for Europe (English, French, Spanish, German languages).

Thats one of the reason I will 100% go PvP and I'll lobby as much as I can for you others to follow
PvP in AoC will be diffrent from the shitty Camlann experience ( some had ). I think your limiting your gaming experience if you pick PvE server. I mean it is a guild vs guild game and how dull won't it be after awhile to only be able to pvp in minigames and instanced sieging areas? Mind you those areas are not as large as the DAoC frontiers, wich you in a way could resemble as an "instanced sieging area".

Not rly, PvP beta server general attitude was exactly the same as cammlan, with the same spawn point lvl 80 campers and unable to reach the npcs just to get quest rewards.

I am a PVPer but I like to keep my pve and pvp very seperate. Its nice to be able to AFK for a bit without without some lemon killing you. I also like to be able to relax through my pve and take it easy, only really pay attention when pvp'ing.
On the whole I think i would prefer a pve server but if the majority pick pvp then I will go there (with reservations)
