Your a fckin idiot
I'm all for circumstances, if it's ok in your mind, let it go.
Also i think drink-driving is ok unless you hurt someone.
If shit doesn't happen, it doesn't. No point in "what if?".
That is your opinion.Toht said:Also i think drink-driving is ok unless you hurt someone.
I stop off at the pub on the way home tonight and had 2 pints tonight and drove 200meters home, does that make me bad?? seriously

All you can do is let your friend know that you are having trouble accepting their actions, and that you will not stand by them should they do it again.
Pikey - this is the way to go, IMHO - have a serious moment with him, tell him he was a stupid cnut for doing it and if he ever does again you'll not be talking to him again, then leave it at that.
Ok i can understand the dislike of people drink driving, but LOL at some of the comparisons being suggested here are just fucking retarded. Russian Roulette with five babies and running about with a machine gun ?!??
Some people, i think, are just having a pop at Toh no matter what he says but for fuck sake get a grip people.
Ofcourse drinking and driving increases the risk, but still, if nothing happens, nothing happens.
They are just more examples of saying something stupid is ok as long as no one gets hurt. If you run a kid over while drink driving it is murder the same as shooting and only an idiot would suggest they did not know drink driving was a bad idea.

Oh and Dukat, i would suggest you assess how close /good friend he is and base your judgment on that. I would hazard a guess that he is probably not that great /close friend otherwise you would not be thinking of kicking his ass to the curb but having a serious talk with him as i would feel that this would be path to take with any of my true mates, if only for my own self so that i wuld never have to hear the words "but you never said anything" and my conscience would be clear.
As much as i can understand yours and others sentiments in this thread, i cannot in anyway agree with your last comment. The drink driver doesn't get into his car thinking yea let go kill someone now i have had a few pints. Invariably they either just want to get home or /and are to fucking pissed to know /care to not drive.
Murder, however, is by definition something that is premeditated, or calculated.
Not quite the same now is it?
I guess I should've been a bit clearer at the start, but I'm not certain exactly how much I can or should say at the moment what with things being so recent![]()
Personally, I think if you drink so that you're over the limit and knowing so, you get in your car and drive, you're a fucking idiot. End of. How you react to your mate has got nothing to do with any of us, has it ?
