'The Warriors', an eighties classic and the inspiration for Eminem's Fight Music video.

Message edited due to drunken spelling. Ah, praise the Lord for hip-flasks.

Well, I thought the book was awesome one of his best, but the film stunk imo. It didn't follow the plot at all, half the good bits were missing and the black guy lived in the book and died in the film - how can you kill the guy who did the voice for Hong Kong Fooey ffs??

Last Of The Mohicans.

Nightwatch - there's a film you must all go rent. Ewan McGregor and Nick Nolte version (there was a foreign original I believe but I haven't seen it)

It more than qualifies in my opinion, it was a fantastic film with an as-yet unbeaten shootout. Could have been edited more efficiently (ie, make it shorter) though. :)

Hmmm I didn't make much sense there, I didnt mean it wasnt a classic or timeless. It is a fantastic film and ranks up there as one of my all time favs.

I meant it doesnt qualify in the sense of original poster said they wasnt looking for all time favs, but weird type films that they might have missed :D

I especially like the silence after the shoot out in Heat.

Thats what I remember the most about it.
