O.K. I don't want your best new films of 2002 or the ones you're looking forward to. I don't even want your best all time films (coz with you lot, you'll either try and show off with some unknown shit that you think is supposed to be cool or will pick bladerunner, goodfellas, lotr, matrix etc)

This is getting quite hard to explain but films that will make people say "oooh yeah that was a fucking great film, I'd forgotten about that"

Like, say, Glory, Fallen, Shawshank, Roxanne, Tombstone, Stakeout

(Actually I think I've just revealed myself to be an eighties fiend)

Something that if I haven't seen it you can guarantee I will enjoy, kind of thing.

No Arnold or Sylvester allowed.
