This is starting to look jsut like the sniper in USA, they blame Coutner-strike for that =)) they belived he had played it too much :))
Still, drugs do tricky things to ur brain, if he would of seen a movie maybe hed done the same thig they did in it, who knows.

The sick thing about this (forever) ongoing debate is that they always blame the RPGs/Movies/Books/Whatever.
The fact the kids are under the influence of alcohol/drugs seem to be a factor conviniently neglected by the ones advocating against RPGs.

Oh, and ofcourse it is Counterstrikes fault that bloke sniped people.
It has nothing at all to do with the gun-fetischism in the U.S.

The fact that they had both been drinking and feasting on rohypnol dont make that huge difference. The fact that they played a RPG-game made em do it. Also, the way their parents have raised them and tought them about life and how things work in general dont affect them... just the RPG
what if they had played Tetris? Would they have gone out to move the bricks in some flat, to make em fit better?

And what about the guy that got slaughtered in Halmstad (i think it was)? He and his friends were doing "vampyrlajvs"... I heard those get bloody at times, especially when things gets settled by "sten, sax och påse" ...


Its not easy to be a roleplayer, especially as they carry around more weapons than the heaviest equipped shadowblade, body parts from slaughtered kids/old ladies, bags with drugs, booze, long black robes etc.

Yeh tonight "kalla fakta" will send a documentary about how swedish kids play to much computer games, and how they get addicted to them etc...think ill watch it just for a laugh :).

Yes i can stop playing DAoC whenever i want...honest! I WILL!...but just not toady...mkay.

I have a irl mate that ate alot of coffine pills on a LAN. He stayed up for 2 nights in a row and then when he finaly left his comp and took a walk he saw small trolls running in the forest, and NO he dident play DAoC back then.

I doubt your illusions have much to do with what you just watched on teli/played.

"At age 14 some people start developing something called "berserker ability". Meaning you will grab the nearest axe you see and hit people with it. At early stages you cant controll this at all.
The ability comes when you least expect it. ie: when you play DAoC or when you combine drugs with booze. Reminds abit of puberty, but its less annoying. No boners, no funny stuffs goin on with your voice, just the axe thingy. This is "Swedes* only" (as Swedes are norse. and only nordic people can be berserkers) Thats why its also so seldom heard of by people from other parts of the world. Once you "zerked" u stay in that mode until you hit someone with the axe and untill the police comes to pick you up. After that noone knows what happends really. In a few years you will leave "jail*" as a grown up man. By that time, you have developed a bad standing with the rest of the world and you will be "aggro*" towards everyone and everything."

*Swedes = People from the country Sweden.
* Jail = A place where different people meet up and exchange experiences and tips about a little of each.
* Aggro = You dislike something or someone very much.

hehe rollspelsdebatt igen somsagt.. för den rollspelare som vill skratta lite åt 2 sk "forskare" som inte förstått begreppet vetenskaplig metod rekommenderar jag Didi Örnstedts och Björn Sjöstedts - De övergivnas armé.. finns i handeln eller på ditt närmaste bibliotek. ;)

I've read some articles on the Internet about people (Swedes) killing each other. As a good friend and neighbour I have to admit that I’m worried. We (the Norwegians) don’t like to live next door to serial killers and drug dealers. So, what I want you to do is:
1. Kill all the players in “Tre Kronor” (the Norwegian hockey team is just soooo much better)
2. Get rid of all the MMORPG players
3. Sell Volvo and Ericsson(sp?) to someone in Norway (Givf!!!)
4. Get addicted to an MMORPG
5. Send all your drug dealers to Norway (we need them!)

Hej, jag heter Kristian och jag behöver er förståelse och stöd inför det hemska som har drabbat mej.

För en tid sedan har det börjat ett par nya pojkar i min klass och dom har gjort mitt liv till ett rent helvete. Redan från första dagen de började i min klass har de trakasserat, slagit och förnedrat mej. Jag misstänker att de är satanister för det går runt med "corne paint" i ansiktet och har smycken med stjärnor på (vilket jag tror är satanist-stjärnor). Dom har ofta på sig "Metallicatröjor" och dom har vid ett tillfälle tvingat mej att lyssna på deras musik. Jag grät hela natten och klarade inte av studierna speciellt bra.

Hur ska jag bära mej åt för att få dessa vilsa själar att sluta plåga mej??? Jag har varnat dom förut att de kommer att hamna i helvetet om de inte slutar lyssna på den förskräckliga satans-musiken men de bara skrattade och sa att "Gud är död, leve Satan". Hur ska jag få dom att sluta?

Hej Kristian,

Jag förstår att du tycker situationen är mycket otrevlig. I huvudsak gäller det för dig att vara stark i din tro, och inte vika dig för dessa vildar. Att döma av beskrivningen du gav av pojkarna, så är de nog satanister, eller möjligtvis kommunister. Att de sminkar sig tyder även på att de är homosexuella. Troligtvis är de allt ihop, vilket verkligen påvisar vilka förvirrade människor du kommit i kontakt med.

Du förstår nog att det inte går att ge några universella svar på hur man ska hantera en sådan situation. Men mitt råd till dig är att ta kontakt med din rektor och förklara för denne hur du upplever situationen. Men som sagt tumregeln är att vara stark i tron, och försöka förklara för dem vilka kval de kommer att utstå om de inte rannsakar sitt liv och överlämnar sig i Kristi händer. Jag rådfrågade även vår ungdomspastor Jonas Eek som ofta kommer i kontakt med ungdomars bekymmer. Hans råd ska du endast följa i undantagsfall, dvs då det är absolut nödvändigt. Försök att lura dem att böja sig ned en smula, sparka därefter med tarsus strax under mjälten (det stora lymfatiska organet i övre vänstra delen av bukhålan mellan magsäcken och diafragman). Träffar du rätt, behöver du inte spraka nämnvärt hårt för att en betydande smärta ska vandra ut mot musculus obliquus externus abdominis. Det borde ge dem en rejäl minnesbeta.
