Chel$ki had more than a few games last seaon that were not old out and that a 35 thousand seater thats not big support imo.
Football threads to be deleted on sight from OT.
Mainly because the substantial proportion of there fan base is in Asia
<dons flame proof suit for Chodax)
Thats a load of horseshit to be honest!
Chelsea won fuck all for years and years, yet they still had a massive fanbase.
Liverpool/Man U are the real glory supporters, just look how many Red Shite/Scumchester fans live in places like London and Ireland. Calling Vlad a glory supporter is basically the same as calling all Newcastle glory supporters
Why would I want to do that?
Support Bolton, the best Manc team![]()
Bloody northerners
Cho you watch what you say about my blues or you'll be receiving some very deceiving pornographic links again![]()

Get your facts straight please. It's 42k seater, just smaller than anfield and was bigger then highbury.
consistently the only club to be turning an operating profit year after year.
OK so 35k was your attendance then 7k under capacity
Lol seriously? I never knew that, if true it is fucking tragic.
Ryan Babel is a youngster who's already been GREAT for Ajax. How old is he? 20?
He shoots well, dribbles well, runs fast. He'll come in good, I'm quite sure of that.
Then there's Torres, not a guy that'll score 20 goals a season, but he that is because he is not a pure goal getter, he works to create chances and is a very good tactical player.
Benayoun, well as I'm half Isreali I'm a bit biased, but he'll bring some of the unexpected to a Liverpool side that has had near yo none of that lately. He seems a bit lazy sometimes, but on a liverpool side that has always been known for their hard work he may be just what they need.
From reading this they had an attendance under 30k for a champions leauge game

ROFL! I don't remember a single Champions League proper game at Old Trafford that didn't hit 90% attendance and the vast majority over the last 15 years have been complete sellouts. So much for the massive Chelsea fanbase eh?
Does anyone see any of the other teams in the Premiership making any kind of challenge on the Champ League places?
Tottenham maybe. Berbatov played a blinder all season last year.
Newcastle with a decent manager and 2 decent strikers (if they can keep them)

/cry so much Liverpool baiting in here i am going to turn into Keitan. Firstly: All this shizzle about Liverpool spending craploads and getting fuck all. True to an extent. Under Houlier got a lot of French shit, under Benetiz got a bit of Spanish shit. But never ever spent as much as post abramovich Chelsea, Man united, and some seasons Newcastle and Tottenham.
Secondly "Liverpool are just trying to buy the prem": Dont be so fucking naive, what do you think every club is trying to do.
Thirdly, Babbel: Any player Arsenal were after is a good signing imo.. Wenger is the best player of the transfer market.
Fourthly, Torres bashing: Hard to tell, he is the best striker signed by any English club this summer?
Fithfly: Glory seekers dont exist in the real grown up world. When you are five you change who you support becuase you want to gloat over your mates. No one i have ever met above the age of 12 have ever said "Yeah i used to support Liverpool, but one day i woke up and thought i'd support Chelsea".
And finally, who is going to win the prem: United have a very very strong team. Have to go down as favourites. Chelsea havnt improved *that* much, but they have some insanely good players. I think Shevchenko could do it next season.. if Mourihno plays him in the right position. Ppl still think omgz he has just gone shit? How about he was played in the wrong position all of last season. Arsenal have the best manager in the world imo, but it all seems to be crumbling. However sometimes teams that seem on the ropes do well (united last season). And as for my beloved Liverpool: i dont think next season will be our season, but surely we are getting closer.
Finally a logical liverpool fan :worthy:
That was nothing like Keitan thankfully, no bleating or swearing or generally being a tit
In response to your points though;
#4; The top clubs haven't really needed to sign any world class strikers, i'd imagine you're aware of that. Well perhaps Man Utd but Tevez is on and off so much to the point it's not worth assuming he'll come. But on the flipside it could also be Pizzaro who's the premierships big hit this year.
And your last point. Chelsea didn't really NEED to become massively stronger over the summer. Our downfall in the league was down to the lack of defensive cover we suffered when JT and Ricky were out for long periods of time, both separately or together. Factor Cech's absence into that too and you'll see thats when a number of perceived 'easy' games were thrown away, especially the draws at home to Reading/Fulham.
We've added to our squad more appropriately now, all positions are well catered for meaning our key players can be rested more, which hopefully would cut down on the injuries too.
I still think Chelsea will sign another player, same with Utd. Liverpool have allegedly made contact with Roma about Mancini, although he's contracted until 2009 and said he'll see that out, so who knows.
With the Cup of nations this year i think you will still sign a Striker. Unless Drogba pulls out early and splashes it all over Vlad's back!
I wanted Spurs to sign Bojinov. Bulgarian connection up front ftw.
Was waiting for someone to snap up Pazzini too. Oh well, maybe next year.
I don't get that "it" feeling when I look at thier midfield![]()
Yes, you get the sh'it' feeling when you look at thier midfield.
