Liverpool attractive Football they just come of the back of 2 0-0 draws no disrespect to Birmingham but no team like that should be getting a draw at Anfield.

Agree with that even when we played blackburn the shin kicking was less than last year and they actually played some decent football. Will just have to wach and see if Big Sam turns Newcastle into some long ball bully team or uses the players he has to play good football.

Without a doubt Arsenal are the form team right now, they are playing some lovely stuff and thier penetration in the final third is what is winning games for them. United on the other hand are doing everything right until the final third of the pitch, from there we overpass and are too often moving the ball crossfield rather than spliting defences open. Until that changes we will struggle to stay with Arsenal because we will drop too many points drawing in matches we should have won. If we can start to get things right up front then I can see us slowly gaining ground on Arsenal between now and February but that is by no means a given.

As for the scousers, Torres is doing better than I expected but Liverpool are not playing as well as thier points tally would suggest. They have a very good squad now but I can see them continuing to be plauged by inconsistency for a while yet as they have alot of new signings adapting to English football. Also Rafa's continual tinkering with the squad is going to damage morale if he isn't careful, alot of fans are already very unhappy after the 4 dropped points in the last 2 games. The amount of irate Liverpool fans calling BBC Radio's 5 Live 606 program and Talksport after the last couple of games demostrates the growing impatience with Benitez. He risks dropping points to rest players who do not need resting and then plays them in cup games against sides that a Liverpool second string could beat. Until he commits to playing his best 11 every week Liverpool cannot be Premier League Champions, it is that simple.

As for Chelsea, god only knows. On thier day they have the squad to beat anyone in Europe but right now it is looking worse by the day. They are trying to convince everyone that things are fine with a PR offensive but it is plain to see that Chelsea isn't a happy camp right now. What they need is a manager who can pull the whole thing back together and unite the squad again, that manager is not Averam Grant. Too many of the players have no respect for him, even going so far as having insulting nicknames for him. Long term he won't work out and short term he could all but kill Chelsea's chances of winning any silverware this year as well as alienating half the squad.

5 of torres's 6 goals have been beautifully passed though balls and he's times his runs to perfection to stay onside but gaine 10 yards instantly, the only one that wasnt a though ball was a low cross to feet from riise that he couldnt miss

so hes not a target man, and he doesnt have to "scrap it out" to score, he's easily the best striker/finesher we've had since Owen left and with him liverpool look like a title challenging team, without him they look the same as last season, lotsa chances no goals
