Fm2008?

The problem with fm games is that the computer teams cant keep up with your progress and fall so far behind you can win big games without using tactics because your oponnents are so poor. For instance, in 2007, by the end of season 10, united, chelsea and arse had all been relegated and had dog shit players playing for them. The teams second to me, like west ham etc were just the best an awful bunch.

Whats it like in 2008 Corran?

It is no where near as bad as used to be, and some teams can still give me a run for money, chelsea are one of those still. Arsenal still do well etc but there still some big name players about. And they seem more willing to go for decent regens, constantly have them chasing some of mine.

Not as challenging as it was to begin with, but it took me a couple of seasons to settle my formation to what it is. Be in a few seasons we see how bad they can get.

Actually there are some great English players in the game. I have an entire british side as already said before. Yes if you have foriegn players you may be more effective however the British players (primary English) also stayed unbeaten throughout the season. Mind you I have got a number of regens, but the British players that can be class which I still have are

John Fleck
Jose Baxter

So currently half my british team is players available from the beginning. In the last season Rooney played 35(1), Scored 53, assisted 26 and average rating of 8.42.
