This is kind of a time travel paradox really...because if they had not seen the future then these events happening now would not be happening now...

its like a mass self fulfilling prophecy.
basically we know what is going to happen so is there any point watching it? usually the point is you dont know whats going to happen!

but they cannot change the visions they have seen. anything they do will end up with them making the future occure as they have seen it, therfore it is self fullfilling.

Have you seen this week's episode?
As bloke proved, you CAN change the outcome of the visions.
Some people were assuming they were essentially invulnerable if they had a flashforward. Bloke proved that having a flashforward does NOT necessarily mean you're going to live.

Yes but only if you yourself want to commit suicide and you seen yourself. The poster was on her car windscreen, I wouldn't be suprised if she went along to one of those parties in the future and died anyway.

I am just finding the show really disjointed, we had 10 seconds last week of the two guys who caused the thing, and in this episode there was zero mention, it's just random jumping around.

Its scratching around for a decent plot. Good concept, piss poor writing.

Didn't watch this at all. As said near the start of the thread, it had all the hallmarks of another Lost style string-a-long. I've read this thread with interest to see how it developed. Although some have watched it with enthusiasm, it just seems to have confirmed that the show failed to go anywhere.

They had something great in the first episode, they then decided to make every other episode full of fuck all apart from the last 30 seconds :p

Can't say I am unhappy about never watching the main guys two facial expressions..

Oh you bunch of philistines!
The next episode is when they all catch up with their flashforwards.
Hopefully they've filmed an alternate ending to finish the show on the last episode.

I watched the first few episodes (recorded, or hulu?) - lost interest after that.

I quite enjoyed it, shame it has been canned.

The thing is that David S Goyer writes and produces a number of shows that don't last.

FlashForward, Blade, Threshold

I think he's one of the better screenwriters for US TV, and his list of movies is impressive.
David S. Goyer

So V gets another series? WTF?
Heroes is bye-bye for good. Oh well, it was losing steam anyway.
Scrubs was canned the same day as FlashForward.

The best news of is that Fringe has another series. :)
I squee'd when I read that!
