Thorey, I think you missed the point in Harpys post.
It's not about who zerged who, it's about avoiding to get everyone screaming at you on the wrong basis. The assassins might not be overpowered, but in groups of 10 they seem to be exactly that. The gankee will ALWAYS scream. The point is, if they scream enough, Mythic listens. But you can't seem to get that.

You say "ruining the fun for others" ?. How about the times when i've been at atk and have got into a one on one fight with an alb tank and you have came up behind me and pa'd me half way through the fight.
This kind of thing really annoys me, you think you got a good fight then all of a sudden some infil rp whore comes and fucks it up.
If infils are so great and are so great at soloing then there shouldnt be any need for you to do this.

At atk? Duelling at Atk? Erhm, and ruining the fun for others, this is to prevent people from screaming nerf, because they got wasted. Read the posts before you post.

And Harpy what about the time when me and another skald ran to amg in emain and there was a cleric standing there so we decided to go kill him, then you and about 4 other stealthers popped up.
It seems the point of this thread was to moan about SB's "teaming up" but you do it yourself with other stealthers.

was lol when i saw u at amg in odins last night, i just logged in my minstrel, got to amg, hmm is that a mid, well if it was he would have hit me by now.... a few secs pass hmm definately a mid, oh now he is hitting me, auch im mezzed.

dd dd hit, eeek im on 30% hits not good, stun dd dd mezz.. use first aid, use flute charge, heal song ....

optical hits u for 350 dmg, OUCH i think i fell asleep waiting for my hits to recover :p I think i will rest a little further away from my opponent next time :) Im still not used to using charges though, took me bloody ages to get the flute going :/

Commece combat, one more hit eekk time for IP, you must wait 5 mins to use :( man did i get owned :(

Then some scout killed you and although i searched mid realm long and hard i couldnt find u again :(

Aye NOW its different but think of all the past months when it was nothing but none stop Alb zerg, granted things have changed but the old scars never go away.

The new larger mid presance in the frontire is imo due to the Cutting Edge alliance which has motivated alot of people into returning frontires.

P.S no disrespect to the other Mid alliances

P.P.S also your an alb so wtf do i care what you think? :D (sorry couldnt resist a flame :/)

Yeah I for one hate see hidden etc, it was more fun in the old days when there were more solo fights, that is for stealth classes.

These days and coming days belong mostly to non-stealthers, get used to it :>

using ts amg apk now is damn scary u see about 3-10 norsemen and eeny who i now just totaly avoid at all times.
somehow envenom u seem immune to ts lol i once used it to find u and the moment it ran out u laughed :)

we got a SB at every tree next week.

nah i just learn to know when u have spotted me. yesterday Secret and some other scout at the tk i accidently uncovered they saw me and used ts but tried to make me think they ignored me then secret starts steaming towards me i turn and sprint while stealthing every now and then eventually they gave up :D

Any class that has 12 vs 6 or less will seem powerful, lets say 12 enchanters 6 assasins <shivers> I know who will win.. or 12 skalds vs 6 minstrels, or 12 celrics vs 6 helears (Although most of the fight they would just stand there looking at each other :D).

It might be that I am one of the few sb left that solo's most of the time..but when ever i'm in emain I come across 5 more solo SB. The fact that people think we are grouped 24/7 is bs.

I agree it would be pretty bad if they nerfed us :/, but both sides grp a lot, so we would all feel the nerf.

how about 12 spear spec hero's vs 6 theurgists all with 8 sec bt and 41 ice spec :)

Just gonna add i notice a few assasins are crying about see hidden because it indirectly nerfs them by forcing their usual targets to group up...
please then lets remove it so ppl with stealth can still use it for what its meant to be - soloing

P.S. lvl 40 - 44 minstrel is called a Soloist and lvl 45-49 minstrel is called Master Soloist, mythic should update that.

First of all I did say I got owned in my orininal post. That isn't the issue. I get owned every day and multiple times. I am not upset about that. If I was I wouldn't go to RvR areas. Its the circumstances that bother me a bit. I am used to getting ganked by full groups of Hibs whilst in a fight or having been discovered by a blue con true sighter and the ganked by lots. Hell even owned by single targets at times. Surely I didn't 'like' it at any occasion. Getitng owned by singles or even two opponents isn't such a bad experience however then being ganked by full groups or more.

As far as Optical is concerned, I don't recall every time I have a go at you and under what circumstances. I don't know why, but I must admit you and Bee are some of my prime targets tho and I see red all the time I see you :) If it was a fair fight you were in there I apologize if I did. I will honor your privacy from now on and don't interfere in your fights. Ganking skalds is just so much fun. At least sometimes you don't mezz and run (@Optical) like most of your collegues. So next time I will let myself get scolded at why I didn't help the poor tank :)

I am sure some of you at least got my point (at least I hope so) and therefore stand back from the discussion. I have nothing to add to it. If you want to discuss certain occorances with me do so in pms.

Hotrats, it was a good fight although i expected more of a challenge. :) When i hit you while you were sitting i thought you were lagged or something, but i still would have beat you even if you did get the timing right ^^

Bear in mind NP have a large proportion of SBs so they will most likely prefer teaming up with each other - especially in Emain. I know the feeling of running into a group of enemy Assassins and being severely ganked, it's not a pleasant sight to say the least. Although I have to admit I've never been unfortunate to meet my death from 10 Infs, maybe 5 at the most although 1 would have been sufficient enough in my case.

Yer i get beat by skalds 80% of the time, you got parry and way higher weapon spec and you are a light tank im a rogue. Usually its a lot closer than i got with you but i had literally just logged in (logged at apk in odins) and it was only the second time I used my flute's charge. Basically if u get the jump on me you are gonna win, I should have stealthed then dd dd mezzed from stealth like i usually do, but as i say i was half asleep :)
As it was u got the jump on me, and thusly 2 extra dd's hence me being half dead before melee even began. I should have just mezzed you and ran but i thought feck it i might as well try thinking i had IP charged, when it wasn't charged I had no hope.
I also had my caster killing weapon out, not my skald slayer (as i named it when i received it :) )

Speak to Eos or Oddgear, i beat them both a few times :)

I look forward to our next encounter.

LOL! thats all i can say .. im the guy playing mele 90% of the time atm, and ask ANYONE from NP or from middie who knows me, mele has NOT been grouped the last 150k rp since i see sb as a SOLO class .. so take that comment and place it somewhere else .. cause its obviously directed at the wrong person
And if u dont believe me, i dont think i can convince u, but it is a fact ...

and to be honest harpy, I dont recall ever seeing you solo much.. you always team up with more infils and some minstrels and/or scouts. I really think that you just got owned one time too many in emain since you came here to post.

Besides its albs who started these stealther teams. Most of the highlvl mid SBs I know, used to solo almost all the time, while it was far from unsual that one would hear reports of an alb stealther team at amg, mmg, whatever.

And yes I team up with other Infils. Rarely more then one. Can't recall ever to team up with scouts or minstrels though. And no I am not always solo. How the hell would you know anyways. I avoid you mostly - you hit me like for 800 or more in that fur costume of yours.

In this particlar case - there wasn't anyone else to group with at 7 in the morning. And yes, sure I will fight you one by one if your grouped with mele (who is never grouped) and Madelaine - hehe.

Dream on ...

As for who started it ? Does it matter ? It sucks doesn't it.

Lol vanity yes i was grouped with sub yesterday, for like first time ever, we r at a LAN and were both RVRing at 7ish AM kindda antisocial not to group wouldnt u say ? but i would really like some SS of mele attacking u at same time as other sbs .. dont think iv ever done that so ur remark in ur original post still doesnt hold water (think thats a danish saying, not sure^^)

other than that this kind of pack won t happen often and we just did it for a blast after the rest of midgard had pretty much left emain for the night. and yes, i know i m hardly a match for you, as 2handed weapons are clearly inferior in fights these days and i do not sport any sort of stun style save CD. cheer up, didn t you kill me 2 out of 3 times you met me?

Harpy it would make a change if an infil didn't 'interfere' during a fight. I haven't got anything against you in particular because alot of infils do this and the fact i go solo in RvR 85% of the time it can get VERY annoying, and it happens so much.
There's not much i can do alot of the time against infils apart from mez and run, but now again i do try my luck :)
