Anyone noticed the acute weakness of the Shadowblade class ? Have the once few good players now all have turned into a weak bunch of sore losers that can't play their class anymore. They bunch up in teams of up to 12 or more and make a nuisance of the last real solo class.

Keep up the good work - you will get the assassin class nerfed soon enough. It perfactly understandable that if you can't solo you team up. But an assassin can well solo. Its made for that. Please don't make greater fools out of yourselves then you have made already ruining the fun for others. I am aware that you don't care since I see the once good players like Eeny, Creep and Finster participating in those pathetic shows. When I read that Mele has just killed xxx, the now sadly common joke goes about ' omg if its Mele its for sure at least 3 more '. So well, let the stealth zerg commence. After all we must copy the Americans in anything they do.

And yes I got owned, by 10 Shadowblades. Piece of art

Noone says that it's wrong to do so. But the only thing that will happen is that people will be screaming because they got owned and Mythic listens to those who scream the loudest. Scream loud = attention = cash. To camp amg with 12sb will give you more grief over time than the joy you had by doing it for the short time you did.

Aye I am grouped with another infil usually since its become a rarity to find any solo stealther lately but I am often going my own ways as many SB/NS can probably acknowledge and you as well if you are honest. We have had many solo fights (or marathon runs for that matter). Sometimes I don't even attack when I am grouped with Zagg and he engages a single target.

But I don't carry it to absurdity. Assassin groups aren't well working groups given any equal number opponents of balanced groups anyways. So why should I do that. No crowd control no healers etc. Doesn't make much sense to me to do that unless perhaps to block reinforcements during relic raids or even a keep take. (If thats in the sence of the developers, I am not sure about).

As for teamwork. If I wan't that I join a standard RvR group.

I just find it curious that the same Mids that whine about Albs zerging, probably even make a Shadowblade class character out of the same reasons (namely to be away from the zerg) to join up in vast numbers or even 3 or more and create their own little stealth zerg since mostly its the other assassin classes that they encounter as a threat to detection but solo or maybe 2 at the most. Is it only me that finds this particularly weird ?

Anyways, if you all think its a cool thing so be it. It would just be a question of ethics if you want to at least make fair fights out of this and not 3,4,5 or even 10,12 against 1. And then saluting over it ..... (not sure if Finster was proud or ashamed about that - be the latter for me but I got him back ).

@ Tranquil: That is what I meant - thanks. They nerfed the archer casses and they will nerf the assassins as well if their solo class abilities are abused in such ways.

P.S. Envenom, before u get some more of your opinion into this let them gank you a few times 4:1. It's not fun

3 and how many friends ? Mazsola isn't an Infil. How many friends aren't infils ? How many friends are there anyways ? 10 more Infils ?

I didn't say we don't create stealther groups at times - but it becomes an everyday thing in Emain to run across SB teams of 4 or more. Tonight was a total insanity though.

And I am not talking about amg for that matter. Apparently they want to clean up the cleanup crews near portal keep to mile gate. Or whatever it is they want to achieve Fear ? Respect ? Flame threads ? Well the latter they may get None of the others, rather the opposite.

I really enjoy fights in the small scale, Runsy. What I don't like, is being beat senseless by 4 or 5 ppl. I am sure you don't like that either Thats why many stealther classes came to life.


Maybe even you had that silly tank or that weak caster before and got pasted and zerged down all the time and decided to go the stealthy way. It's great to walk around and see the zergs pass by, pick your target and take your chances or maybe run across that nasty assassin or archer in stealth and have a good fight. I just feel that what I like about this game and my gamestyle threatened. Whats even worse is that I am afraid that my char will get nerfed becasue of abuse of this luxury I have by doing what you guys did. Of course theres nothing forbidden about it and as I said I am not mad about having been ganked by more assassins that in real life would physicylly have the space to get to me. I am mad because this becomes more and more the rule and not an exception.

Believe me, being a stealther and free to solo without getting ganked all the time is what is fun. They got the archers and minstrels nerfed (btw I don't have see hidden anymore. I wan't them archers back as they were before - preferably without true sight ), so they can't solo anymore, at least not as they used to. I would hate to give up the game because they nerf assassins too.

I for one are getting very pissed off with all these..shadownoobs, shdowzerg..blah blah blah bollocks blah..

I and MOST other shadowblades I know solo 98% of the time...But as soon as the albs get zerged they post here whining..I have lost count the number of times I have been killed by grps of 5+ infils... But I dont post here whining as its the risk I take by going out alone..

If I see a scout its very rare she/he is alone without a maroding (sp?) bunch of infils around her. An example was secret...She was beckoning, I thought at first for a duel..So I took a closer look and found mallus and co near her...So I avoided it but then I ran into some other infils and got killed.. about 3 or 4

The amount of whining you albs do is amazing..its ok when your part of a massive zerg killing everyone and thing in sight. But as soon as another realm does any form of zerging you post on barryswhine about it. why? what does it achieve? Harpy what have you achieved by posting this here?

The zerging stealthers are doing a fine job defending mid, cleaing out the grey gankers at crabs, helping clean the amg of filthy alb's and scouting it out.

The reason they team is saftey in numbers and also the biggest benifit is they can kill more albs and then i can read more of your "i got owned by 2 SB's give me some sympathy" posts.

If you want to have nothing but one on ones go play frikking snakes and ladders or something

I haven't played my sb (mele) in more then a month, so i do not know what has been going on lately. The thing i do know is that before i gave up playing sb, I walked around solo alot. Then when i finally found a minstrel (see hidden) and got ready to attack...all of a sudden atleast 1 more stealther poped up out of no where, ofcourse i died over and over again, untill the point came i just didn't attack them anymore.

To prevent stuff like this from happening i teamed up with a hunter (TS) or 1 or more sb's which went pretty well. So what can i say? u had it coming...perhaps, can't be the judge of that. But i do know u and other stealthers are just as 'guilty'


for ppl who wonder why i gave up playing shadowblade.
It was just not my class, didn't like the playing style.
Shadowblades have no place in the fast moving strike teams we play in, and well scouting is just not my thing.. So now i'm happily playing my Runemaster and enjoying the fast action of todays battlefields

U ALWAYS gank loners w Zagg both w IP too, so dont play the role of the saint harpy......
And for last night was pure fun, and since isnt illegal u'll have to deal w it
I stopped complaining about uberness of classes ( read infiltrators) so play your game and dont harass us, albs ganks ppl all the time i dont see why we cant do it.

dear abpoon, what you say is plain bollocks. The only realms i see zerging are hibs and mids lately. Apart from the madeleine group i dont think i have ever seen another mid FG running around solo. And im sure i have never seen a hib group solo in emain. Hibs are by far the worst, the only thing you guys ever seem to do is camp either amg or mmg.

Well its a fact that since 99 % of sb's and ns's got see hidden,
most scouts and minstrels team up these days. And believe me
a scout + minstrel is pretty nasty, even for 2 sb's. So what see hidden has done is to force archers + minstrel class to group.
Which again means assasins has to group, which again means
other assasins have to make bigger groups, which ...
So in some way see hidden has ruined soloing against stealthers, even for assasins. Its a good old fashion armsrace.

Same can be said about buffbots. Enemy has, so i got to have.

But i doubt any sb wants to give up see hidden, its a kill a archer button, and to some extend kill a minstrel button, but its also a skill who ruins the stealthwar part of the game.

And for those wondering, i say i kill atleast 5:1 assasins with
ts and a minstrel friend. Must suck to see a scout + minstrel swoop in and whack you, but it also sux to be jumped by 5 assasins in just on one trip too amg.

About the 12 sb's at amg, well its a free server and it aint illegal
to make huge stealther groups. Mythic has ruined most of
the 1on1 stealthfights anyway.

Btw : Mages complain about being killed by archers and assasins,
so Mythic removes 1shoot kills. Hmm now assasins might have less fun, so Mythic invents see hidden. Guess that means
archers are lowest in Mythics food/money chain. Then Mythic says
its to prevent sniping, but i doubt any Mythic employee has tryied
an archer in a 1on1 against an enchanter. I doubt any from Mythic has tryied to solo snipe a tankclass in epic armor. But i do
know everyone is making a hib mage on PvP servers
