Happily, though I didn't start the diversing of the thread, I simply carried it. Perhaps if retards stayed out of the threads we would remain on topic. There have been far too many new users in the past two months with the IQ of a 10 year old, I can only put this down to summer vacation, which happily ends soon.

(Incidently, our threads almost always go off topic at one stage or another, and we're lucky if we get it back on track, so please don't preach to me about staying on topic, lurk a while before posting eh?)

Also, going by what deco and pug said, Dogma ripped of the matrix because one of the main characters used a desert eagle to lay down a higher powers 'justice'

Sure there are vague similarities to other films, but that doesnt mean they're unoriginal. The starship troopers thing: well it was a war, which had lots of aliens (whom didnt actually look anything like the aliens from ST) were charging at each other shooting at each other. that's called a war, several films have had things like that.

My point is, just because there are similarities in the plot between this film and others, doesn't mean they're ripped off or unoriginal.

As i've said on serveral occastions: I don't care that you didn't like the film, so bare that in mind before you start going nuts about me getting worked up..
