Fighting hibs = boring

I know, i did appauling damage, most probably because i used a lower damage move by accident (its number 3 on my task bar, while my max dmg one is 4).

But we killed you pretty quick, You didnt seem to last any longer than any regular tank to be honest if i'd realised it was you when we started to fight i'd have definatly showed you my real damage

And lets not forget you ARE orange to me, im only 47, so im bound not to do the amount of damage i could if you were yellow.

lol there was 8 of you the hero is a better tank than an armsman for the reasons i outlined in the other thread, but if you like i could go over them again I said in the other thread that moose form sets us apart from the other tank classes, however I never stated that we have more HP than other tanks. im harder to kill than a zerk but of course make less dmg =) but i was completely unbuffed when u met me, i have 1505 HP then. not so great when 2 mages were nuking me for 300 each per shot

Tanks cant solo in rvr, if you do solo you hope to a) meet other solo tank or hybrid classes who I can always beat as long as i have moose (so long as they dont mez/stun/snare and run off), or b) hope to meet small groups of lower cons who I have a chance against. oh and c) hope Combat or Bee tries to solo me

Heroes are the best tanks coz of Stag, without stag Armsman wins. Btw, novamir is kinda soft compared to others

I dont think the hero is the better tank Novamir. Armsmen are the official tanks of the game, they get the best armour and the best weapon. Maybe hero's can morph, but that simply means they're a hybrid class. Armsmen are the true tanks

Just FYI sorcerers from alb is the main ae root spammers atm in rvr.

The only thing is that there is ALOT more druids than sorcerers, so its more common theres a druid doing it.

But when those damn sorcerers are around its ice globe after ice globe after ice globe, even when im dead i normally get rooted about 10 times before they stop.

So? A moosed hero will still kill you 1on1.

Thats like saying a skald will kill me 1:1 because it doesnt matter who the 'tank' is. If you want a fair duel you need 2 evenly skilled tanks, now a hero v armsman is probably an unfair fight because they do get insta heal and arent even really tanks, they're hybrids.

However other classes, like archers, i can easily solo 1:1 with np.

As it happens, yes i did manage to hit you, and if i had any endurance left i'd have used a style and you'd have been dead

I can easily solo any archer. Today at alb wall, there was an elf yellow sniper, he started shooting at me, and managed to get me to half life, unfortunatly for him i was too quick, and equipped my sword/shield, whacked on engage and blocked the next 8 arrows he shot. and while he was busy trying to finish me off, i charged him, when i got close enough re-equipped my halberd and whack, +240, 495 and some other bits and bobs and he's dead in one hit nice easy realm points.

I havnt been killed by an archer since i got engage, I dont think its possible. I did however die the other day when you and some lurikeen sniper ganged up on me Eleasias, when i was on half health

sigh, so noob. firstly, if you carry a shield you won't even see an archer solo, because archers know its pointless to try to take a shield tank. second, if an archer of even con manages to catch you in the open, alone, without shield, they can kill you within 10 seconds. Crit, normal shot, normal shot. I cant see you parrying any arrows with your UbeR^ polearm. third, any archer who unstealths near you, and doesnt run away with speed buff should be shot for stupidity. archers arent tanks.

just thinking of the list of people Karam can now solo... mages 1v1 np! archers np! any tank class np! damn, I must try this armsman class it's something special

Actually, you were standing at full health when I started shooting at you and got you down to pretty much 40%, after you got to me, I ran, restealthed, shot again and got you down to less than 10%, and then Hing shot the final arrow. You somehow forgot the first part of the fight

LOL oh dear lord novamir how stupid are you!? you really think i carry a shield around in rvr instead of my polearm!? if i get shot by an archer, THEN i get my shield, use engage and im invulnerable. Seriously i'll duel any sniper lol just to prove it, they dont stand a chance. And no, they dont always run away, because some of them dont understand you cant get through engage ability, so they constantly keep trying in the hope they might get a shot in, which they just wont.

But, tell me, how would fighting a 'tank' with insta heal and more hps, and 3 lvls higher be a fair fight exactly?

im not saying i can own everyone in the game, but im saying my polearm owns nearly anyone in the game damage wise (outdamages any bows etc), as long as the person im fighting is roughly yellow con. how the hell do you think i'd be able to solo a skald or something in rvr? its not possible, and its not possible for a hero to do either..... some classes are just better in rvr than others armsmen arent the best class overall, but i reckon they're the best tank class

At lvl 48 I killed an orange mid (50) with my slash polearm and I even had his 2 other orange friends hitting me.. K I died but I killed the orange mid before I died... So sure polearms are powerful but we don't stand a chance without speed/mezz/root/stealth. The only fair fight we can get is by fighting a warrior based class...

but anyway, armsmen are amazing in armies which is what they're built for and what the game is built for. it can be hard to solo, especially when there are a group of 8 lvl 50 mids running around ganking people who are alone.

i cant reeeeeally be bothered to argue about it anymore, all i'll say is polearms are the best weapons in the game, and i can do phat damage nuff said.

In 1:1 all you need is luck, a tactic and not messing up the tactic by pressing wrong keys. To many ??????????? in a duel so you can't really say who is better. And if you killed a higher con doesn't proove your char is better, you just had better tactic that time or more luck.
Only because I killed a yellow Pole Armsman 1:1, I wouldn't make statements " Hib Heroes" are best in game etc.

I think there is no undefeated class in 1:1, now tell me who is best ??????

HF discussing that till next year then.
Because soon somebody comes up with " but last year I killed an orange xyz so my char rocks" ^^

Sorry Karam i might have got this wrong, but correct me if i am wrong. You are saying that you can not solo a skald 1 on 1 ? And then saying that its not possible to do for a hero either?

1.Everything is possible in this game.
2.I've never lost 1 on 1 against any skald +- 2 levels.

Armsmen got 8% (?) more absorb on their armor and the most powerfull weapon ( dmg-wise) in the game (=Polearm) - the term you are looking for is 'balanced'
