wtf is this american router thing that downloads when u start daoc randomly? IM IN ENGLAND i dont want the american router fix it, im getitng pissed off with 10seconds downloading something I dont need them spending 10minutes reinstalling SI. 5th time this week... im reinstalling as I post this, its becomming a joke.

you don't need to reinstall, just change your update.dat back to the EU version and it'll patch you back.

as for the program itself, 'tisn't really GOAs fault.

'tis Mythic, it does that if the patcher has trouble connecting to the patcher server... Of course, they didn't change it for us europeans.

And it would be nice if they coulf fix it, but hey, moon-on-a-stick or a quick fix....

Changing your dat file to a read-only file also stops it happening in future too. right click on it go to properties and tick the box marked 'read only'.
