Ok, thats it, brommix you lucky son of an alb thing. You, as the third assassin in a ROW that resisted quickcast mez just made me quit RvRing for a week.

Quickcast CC is the only thing that makes a caster viable in any kind of way, and 3 assassins IN A ROW have now resisted it, which is just plain dumb.

And on a more serious note, if you think "omg im cool i made a guy angry over a game cuz im better than him" then go home to your mommy and take your overpowered class with you.

Edit: The thing that bother me is that with the other 2 it was shadowgimps with 58798347534 speed weapons and i actually got the spell off before creeping death landed(in which case any caster deserves to win because the assassin is just plain dumb). But you just unsealthed and started garroteing, and i quickcast a mez and you just resist, this is just stupid(resists on a yellow is around ~5% chance, and 3 times in a row.. well, thats 1/8000 that it will happen...)

And well, mythic sucks...

Edit2: ok, i take that back, im gonna rvr now, and now your gonna ****ing die if that mez lands.

Resist chance is ALOT higher than 5% with the right items RAs ;)

Hmmm. Let's take this 5% resist chance then. 1 in 8000 chance of getting 3 resists in a row... okay then.

So how many times have you cast that mezz? I am certain it is more than 8000 times. If this is the first time you have had 3 in a row, you're a very lucky person indeed.

nuking a 2000hp tank to 0 that doesnt even has the chance to go in attack mode is fair but resist a paralyse is unfair.... :rolleyes:

And yes, i know we are *horribly* overpowered, but assassins are even worse ;)

And well, yes i got owned, but waaaaa! its unfair! dont resist qc mez! please! ;)

Edit: and dont gimme that shit about "you play a hib caster". I started a mentalist in beta, back in 1.36, everyone *knew* mentalists were gimped back then, and i still stuck with it. And now with RAs and int buff and dex affecting casting speed, well, overpowered = yes. But hey, it didnt start out that way, and i still liked it.

what tank has 2000hp?
and what mage can nuke a tank with that many HPs to death?

1v1, any tank with 2000hps and half a brain will take any mage out.

if you're gonna say we're overpowered, base your claims on fact, not bullshit.

I actually met an armsman with that many hps just now at amg, Hatjitaj(sp?). He was *buffed* must have had like 35% heat resists and had ALOT of hits, one versus one against him in that encounter i wouldnt stand any chance at all. But he was hitting some poor blue hero so i had to interupt ;)

erm stun nuke nuke nuke even good resist hib caster > tank > cleric > minstrel > most classes unless they resist stun

i have 32% heat resist still get nuked for 400 - 500 dmg if they get a crit in its as high as 700 ^^

yes hib casters are over powered

Oh, and are you factoring in we have 20% bonus from the relics?

And Herbal, when is the patch that, with resists, the length of stun/mezz etc is reduced based on the amount of resists you have?

Hib caster can beat a minstrel one on one?
Minstrel has stealth, 2 instas... sure, if the minstrel is asleep, or not looking, but this is almost the same for all classes.

And if there ARE tanks with around 1800 or so HP unbuffed, and he is being taken down in 4 nukes - is it now my job to tell you to get resists?

Or to run out of range instead of being a mongoloid and running forward to death?

Or for not getting purge?

You can't just expect to walk around not interested in what gear you have on, and think you can take anyone on - I have to plan for minstrels attacking me, how to react when I'm hit by an infil or SB.. but God forbid YOU have to do something about surviving against a caster...

We take out tanks, assassins take us out - where's the problem?

i cant stealth i cant hit insta usually before im dead vs hib caster and i do have good resist they have longer range stun doesnt matter if a tank has ignore pain i have 1780 hps im dead before i leave stun most times ^^

resist or not hib casters ARE overpowered how many alb caster get high lvl dmg nukes with a baseline stun ^^

Yes, stun is not fair, yes it should be taken out of game, but what will you give hib casters back for taking it?

bolts are bugged anyway most blocked (xxx is in combat and blocks ......)

also bolts on a 30 sec timer.....

erm how many alb casters have 1300 hps?

uber dds seems hibs get it as well ( i am i must admit a hib n00b here) but seems like hibs get a whole range of aoe spell that do 100-300 dmg thats not even taking account of the pbaoe you have ^^

so you got the best tanks the best mages and the most cc no wonder hib is the most populated realm on us servers and have most relics accross all servers :(

EEEP! no they dont, highest hib nuke damage is 209, both mid and alb has 220 as highest.

Highest bolt damage? fire wizard does about ~30 more damage(base) than an eldritch, runie about 15.

Even pbae gets beaten by spiritmasters with some damage.

So NO, we dont get the best nukes, and YES all our spells except pbae is heat or cold.

Alb spells? lemme see, Sorc got Energy(later changed to body) cabalist got body, theurg got spirit and cold, and wizard got heat and cold, how am i supposed to find resists for all that? ALL Hibernian DDs and bolts are Heat or Cold, except for Eldritch snare and eld/ench pbae which is energy and highly unusual to get attacked with.

I try to get resists against all your damage types, but it just aint possible without hugging for loot 24 hours a day.

You are lucky to have so few resists you need, still not even a third of you got any heat resists at all(cept like 5% or so).

We also got 20% more damage from relics.

Now tell me if we are *that* overpowered or its just you that plain sucks?

I wasnt lucky...i followed you half a mile unstealthed, you didnt see me i reckon ?.. then as you get up on the high hill W of mill i take a small shortcut, get allmost infront of ya, you see me there. I stealth and you WAVE to me ???. I attack you die, so what that i resist mezz!!! Any caster not watching his back when soloing for half a mile and then chose to wave to a rogue 10 yards infront dosnt deserve to be left alive, or what do you think ?

roll a bard, they fekking UBER...I once saw a bard solo legion, just ran up to him and chain mezzed him till he died...wicked.

i really only have 1 bit of adivce for casters dont go emain/rvr solo?????????????

i have lost count the number of times ive seen lone casters running from alb tk then me killing them, everytime i go alb tk i make about 8k a run probs 80% of that is of casters. If ur going solo in emain and ur caster ur just asking for a death wish.

Assissins are over powered? maybe Sbs and infils but definatly not shades lol

1-1 i usualy own straight up tanks. but thats not factoring in moose and IP and maybe they resist my root. but id say maybe 75-80% of the time i come out on top against tanks, this aint a brag btw just saying that tanks vs casters is closer than you would think.

o and assasins..well they can just fuck right off!!!!

and yes i got owned. ive lost count now :)

Load of bs ... ice specced wizzards have the exact same pbaoe as hibs do .. the thing is that all lamer albs are template players so there are nun .. your own fault

I lvl my wiz to 25 to get into BG2, port over see the tumbleweed blowing past the door and the cobwebs on the elite guards. Saunter over to the central (alb) keep and see 3 hibs having a go at a guard (out of boredom i imagine) so i get a nice position and let rip with my newly aquired lvl24 aoe nuke, boom/boom/boom 2 dead hibs and a 3rd redcon running for his life into the water. I go chase F8 /face /qc... blammo Im dead. I port back over sneak up behind the little luri fucker whose now camping our pk and bolt/bolt bye-bye redcon luri. Damn it felt good to get some payback :m00:
