The v.92 internal creative modem I bought from ocuk, keeps on disconnecting after a few mins, I have set it to never disconnect. I have tried it another computer. The troubleshooting in the manual talks about conflicts, but according to modem resources there are no conflicts.
My external modem works on both computers ok, and I'm using an old internal one in the new computer ok.
I'm sure the modem is faulty do you agree? I have emailed ocuk, but they have not replied. I will now ring them and get a RMA. I just want to be sure it's faulty because they charge £25 if it isn't.
Anyone had good experience with Ocuk returns, and is my modem faulty or is there sonething else I can test? Is it worth returning a £15 modem? when they could charge even more?
