So if they can do that to us, why cant other people ban gays?

Because being gay isn't a choice.

Being a homo-erotic, overly hairy, drug abusing scrounger that likes violence, shooting people and driving under the influence are all choices.

;)

They shouldn't have been allowed to do that to you, should they though...

Thing is mate, I dont really believe in laws to tell people what to think. If they dont want to serve me, then fuck em. I wouldnt want a you-must-serve-bikers law being passed :)

Shit, no offence meant mate :) I'm sure you'd make a lovely flatmate.

No offence taken, I expect I'd make a very very bad flatmate :)

Didn't we discuss this already? As I recall, as a business owner you have the right to refuse a guest/customer, but what you can't do, is give a reason why. Strange, but makes sense if you think about it. The whole "but its their home" bit is irrelevant; if its being used as a business, its a business first and a home second, end of story.

Don't want gays in your home. Don't open it as a business. Equality laws aren't exactly secret. Read them.

I've uninstalled Twitter from my phone
(a) I don't Tweet. I refuse to conform to 140 characters. In the words of Stephen Dedalus "Non Serviam"
(b) Tweeting is so 2011
(c) The Twitter app's broken
(d) Tweeting is for celebrities, wannabe celebrities, people with bad haircuts, hexadecimal metrosexual homosexuals, and perverted deviants

Never really understood the attraction of clubs tbh, although I ended up paralytic in more than a few. They're so noisy you can't talk, the music is shit, the drinks are massively expensive and the taxi home costs a fortune. Your hearing gets damaged and chances are, at some point, you'll end up in a fight.

Give me the local pub any day.

Is a short attention span and inability to follow a conversation a trait of the modern internet? I guess some of us are just used to reading the whole thread before commenting.

usually if you are commenting on something that happened more than 5 or 6 posts back then you quote .. but i guess your old man hands cant cope with that many clicks these days as proved by the abstract nature of the original post in this thread

Thanks for confirming my suspicion, which is that many people these days simply do not possess the ability to engage their brain.

If the music is shit, you are going to the wrong club for you.

Fights in clubs? You are going to the wrong club.

Paralytic? You are drinking to much.

Can't disagree with the prices thing, but as for a cab home, share!

Such as your inability to process the facts that a) other people don't think like you and like the same things as you and b) that base steroetyping leads to posts full of utter bullshit and nonsense.
