Surely not?
Far better to just spam a crappy anytime style than play your toon properly right?
Stinkywizzleteeth said:So what you're all objecting to is someone trying not to get killed, who eventually did get killed by using this inferior tactic?
Stinkywizzleteeth said:I think when i first went into the bg's with a melee character, i tried the ol' strafe/anytime thing. I soon realised that it was not actually getting me anwhere, so i stopped doing it. I discovered backup styling just after that, and things all started to fit into place. I'm still learning now as although i'm running around in emain i'm still very wet behind the ears.
Stinkywizzleteeth said:Weren't the battle grounds designed so that people can get used to playing thier toons in an rvr environment?
Im not juding him by any leet tower bullshit....Stinkywizzleteeth said:Is it to be assumed that there are no new players coming into the game that dont know thier arses from thier hands, and that everyone is to be judged from the ivory tower of 1337?
ummm.... you are getting abit out of the topic here, did i ever say he didnt know what to do?Stinkywizzleteeth said:I can just imagine someone who is playing thier first toon as a reaver in bg1 should automatically know exactly what to do and when to do it. And this person you refer to didn't know what to do?
Sn00k3 said:strafer of the year :worthy:
Stinkywizzleteeth said:What a lam3r, we should kick him/her out of the game with all speed. N00bs huh?
Sn00k3 said:Running through is just the same as strafing, if that is what you mean with discovering, same abuse of bad coding and the lag.
Luckly that is kinda easy to avoid to...
Sn00k3 said:If be refer to the player in question then i doubt this doos is trying to to learn his char and see how it is to play it in RvR, just another guy who got bored of emain and play in BG instad, ot just waiting for Zoyster/Outlaw to put up a emain cg/bg. ...etc/etc

Stinkywizzleteeth said:When someone posts "strafer of the year", am i to assume that what is being referred to is a bug exploit? I had made the assumption that it means that the person in question had /stuck to thier opponent, and were pressing the strafe keys to avoid getting hit, whilst trying to use an anytime attack to kill them. Maybe if using some kind of cheat is what was meant, then people should be somewhat more specific
when they post.
WOuld a new guy SC his char and use a BB if he was new?Stinkywizzleteeth said:I think what you're saying here is that you doubt that the guy was new to the game. Its hard to tell as your grammer is pretty bad. How do you know this?
Stinkywizzleteeth said:I was just using a little irony to make a bad joke.
Hakansson said:good strafer >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> face/stick , won't matter because of the damn lag =o/
Sn00k3 said:umm... thats what you usually do when you strafe, to make yourself out of view of the opponent, but it aint a bug exploit, neither a feature in the game, its just a abuse of lag and some bad coding by mythic. And tbh it is lame.
You "assumption" or whatever it is in english is the "bug exploit".
...etc etc
Stinkywizzleteeth said:Ok, i think i understand what i'm dealing with here. Thats fine. If you post again i will not bother replying, as there is no point. Enjoy having the last word, my gift to you. This post is neatly organised into paragraphs for you to insert your "wit" in between.
It is a shame that so many people flock to the English server that cant really speak the language. Hopefully it will help them to speak it better in the long run. I guess in the meantime the rest of us that can will have to endure the sub-English troll that they regurgitate at the rest of us. Mind you, there are as many English people in here that seem to be having trouble with it also.
I knew a Finnish man for about a year. I've only met the one in real life. He boasted a lot really (usually about himself or Finland), and was always the loudest voice in any room. Don't get me wrong, he was good to have around and an almost endless source of amusement for everyone around him, although i'm not convinced that he knew it all the time.
I guess there must be loads of really sound Fins out there, i hope to meet some soon to redress the balance somewhat, as an ignorant mongoloid appears to have crawled out from under a cold wet rock, not representative of the Finnish people as a whole.
