no he was strafing while just doing any style. Dont matter who hes fighting i was stood still on my shammy and he side strafed through me although not that it mattered because i was being chain healed

after he had finished slapping me with that whip the rest of my group plastered him into the ground.

ANyways why side strafe when you got /face on its hardly worth the hassle.

I think when i first went into the bg's with a melee character, i tried the ol' strafe/anytime thing. I soon realised that it was not actually getting me anwhere, so i stopped doing it. I discovered backup styling just after that, and things all started to fit into place. I'm still learning now as although i'm running around in emain i'm still very wet behind the ears.

Weren't the battle grounds designed so that people can get used to playing thier toons in an rvr environment?

Is it to be assumed that there are no new players coming into the game that dont know thier arses from thier hands, and that everyone is to be judged from the ivory tower of 1337?

I can just imagine someone who is playing thier first toon as a reaver in bg1 should automatically know exactly what to do and when to do it. And this person you refer to didn't know what to do?

I knew a Finnish man for about a year. I've only met the one in real life. He boasted a lot really (usually about himself or Finland), and was always the loudest voice in any room. Don't get me wrong, he was good to have around and an almost endless source of amusement for everyone around him, although i'm not convinced that he knew it all the time.

I guess there must be loads of really sound Fins out there, i hope to meet some soon to redress the balance somewhat, as an ignorant mongoloid appears to have crawled out from under a cold wet rock, not representative of the Finnish people as a whole.
