As for testing your specs, LOL!! Thats what respecs are for, go earn some! Theres a million forums out there discussing specs for every class, race and colour in this game, and a few hundred players around you who can advise you on whats what, if you dont know how to play your toon by now you must be doing something severely wrong.

You cant go on the subjective opinion of others - likes and dis-likes are often coloured by playstyle. The other problem is that everyone has a different idea of the 'best' spec for a certain class so theres actually not an awfull lot of help there - you might gain enough idea to avoid the pitfalls but only trying different specs lets you find the best for you.

Many players are casual and have actual jobs - for them this would be a great idea - the hardcore players can ignore it.
