Spirit resist chant looks like an ablative going off. VF can confirm I speak the truth. + You could see my chanting was poor, as it was ill-timed and such, mainly due to lag and being close to atk in Emain.

I'm sorry the truth doesn't interest you.

But the real reason was that I was abducted by aliens half way through the fight, who stole half of my hit points and then made me body magic weak. :( As if to add insult to injury, there was an evil cow that was staring at me, causing me to lose concentration.

Ekydus didn't play perfectly. But fact remains I killed him and his merc friend at the same time.

And I'm just a bard :p Eky used ip too ! Go figure ! :p

Duel me with all ra's up eky, just tell me when and where ;)

insta mezzes were down, and so was purge :p

21 bluntspec

used ip against the merc, then fa2 when eky ran at me, then AM while fighting him

eky used ip, the merc didn't use anything.. :p

If you didnt have purge up then there is no way in hell you could have beaten a pally!

purging slam to prevent fa2 is kinda usefull tbh

and no they didn't attack me at the same time, cause i mezzed eky and he didn't purge :D the merc resisted :|

You would have had druid buffs, so it does make a bit of a difference.

Still, thats no excuse for them to loose!

BB buffs give you an insane boost to weapon skill. Against a defensive melee class this will do a lot more than the extra 10 damage.....but they still got owned by a bard.

(Buffbots should be banned though)

your evade would be boosted aswell, certainly vs an unbuffed paladin ;).

Still it is rather humiliating to lose to a bard with 2 people :p.

Bard damage output is simply shit, I rely on a single DD and everything else I have just gives me 5-6 lives so I can actually use the it :p

Give me a time and a place and I'll re-duel.

BTW: It was FH not IP, I won't have IP until 6L4. IP also has a different animation to FH - FH looks like a spiral of white streaks.
The Merc I was with was only a low RR Merc and couldn't have done much.
Without my SC my Body resist is pretty damn crap - Epic etc, hence the need for me to twist it, but I screwed that up... whoops.

I was unbuffed, as was the Merc, Purge was down and the Merc had... DT... erm... wow.

Time for rematch? :)

Saturday, Glacier Giant, 5 pm CET. No buffs (except self buffs ofc), all ra's / potions.
