Prolly banned from General for a few days. Wij was only banned for a week or two, I can't think the 'punishment' being that much different from then.

His account has been effectively disabled for now, the contact email changed and the password also changed. He has had moderator status on the Quake 2 forum removed (along with access to the admin & liaisons forum). His membership account has also been disabled.

Whether it will be re-enabled remains to be seen, but as a Game Liaison he should be expected to behave a little better than others.

erm. No, it was him who posted that pic. No, it wasnt him in it. Yes, he was trying to make a valid point and add a bit of comedy to it.

Seems a bit OTT to ban someone (anyone) for posting stuff like that ( theres a screen cap of it out there )

Yes, spank Dime for being a idiot, remove the image, shout at him for posting stuff inappropriate (even tho the forum says "not for the easily offended")

I'm sure the forum mods will agree that they will now suspend every poster who swears, posts pictures of (semi-)naked pictures of women that happen to be their desktop backdrops, and every one who links to goatse.cx .

Oh, and another thing, why not just delete the thread?

Anyhow, I'm sure a gentle introduction with bigfoot for a night would be enough for anyone to stop posting naked pics of men :)

I thought barrysworld was all about *fun* not anal retentiveness!

Whilst i haven't seen the pic, by the sounds of it, was just a naked bloke(correct me if i'm wrong). I don't think it would have been the criticism of #bw that resulted in... Well.. The result...

I can see why BW wouldn't want someone posting pics of naked men all over the General board, however we *do* have a warning, so i hardly think he was going to really offend anyone. Deffinitely seems a bit OTT :/

The problem with tackling these kind of fanboy cocksuckers in such a manner, as I found out with Xavier. Is they tend to cry like babies to the powers that be. Like phoning TedTheDog because you are having the piss ripped out of you.
