Unfortunately that doesn't make me trust you, I am all for trust. But the if I am wrong get out clause makes me fear you!!!

I agree but thought it was worth posting anyway as an idea for uncovering what the game is about with I presume, everyone in the same boat despite what it sounds like. Generally speaking, the longer this type of game draws out, the more information you have the opportunity to discover. On the flip side, only one game I've played have I ever seen a bad guy get lynched on the first day. Without knowing what's going on, I'd say that is just as likely with this game or more so if there are indeed, no bad guys in this game...

That makes sense to me, I have voted for someone, im not saying who but I did. Im willing to go for a no vote though to give the group more of a chance to work out just what situation we're in.

Well the fact you voted for Will initially would suggest that you voted him, if not then you are playing mind games with us.

Hmm I must consider your actions.

I agree, the longer we talk about things the more information we can at least try and put together. No point in rushing into anything when there is (not at face value) no specific bad guys facing us. Well apart from the guy whose locked us all up here. If we go to Gung Ho about it, we're more liable to end up hurting ourselves more than getting us out of here in one place.

Not having much luck here Ch3tan :(

Me a bad guy how very dare you! I'm as pure as the driven snow. I'm just wondering has everyone woken up from their ordeal, as looking back over our conversation it seems we're missing a few peoplesn opinions?

If we actually knew what was going on atleast we could get rid of them without any trouble.

Well thats the thing Calaen, we dont know. By making a vote for no vote we might be able to give ourselves more time, get some clues and maybe survive this.

I'll be totally honest now, i did vote for Will but I'm willing to sacrifice myself for the greater good.

At this point, I'm assuming that the stated rules are what are going on. Hence my suggestion that we should all vote for me tonight. As the rules stand, I see no reason why I should vote for anyone other than the person I chose last night, since it appears to be a death sentance if I don't.

I still see these games, the ones with vast areas of unknown variables as better for people to work together and not necessarily kill someone off in the first round.

While the action of sacrifice is noble, the chances are, maybe only 1 or 2 people voted for you so that's end up being two people surviving and the rest in the same boat... I severely doubt it's going to be insta gibbing for everyone involved, if anyone. That's why I'm still calling no vote at this stage. At least with strength in numbers, we'll all be in the same position tomorrow and have a better understanding of what this game is about.

Yeah Kir, I don't think it will be quite so obvious as Insta-gib everyone who didnt vote for the person who gets chosen otherwise it would be a very short game. (maybe wrong in which case this'll be a costly error) But I'm going to go with what you and Aph3x have said, go with a no vote and we'll see what happens.

Yes, interesting. Unless of course those calling for a no-vote, called this result. So they are being just as selfish as those voting a particular person. Think on that before you all end this day.

So kir, I would like to know whom you voted for last night, or if it was a no-vote you wanted. It would make your argument a bit shakey to say the least.

and think about this carefully guys. We do not know what will happen at night, but it seems from the rules that there will be a reprieve for those who guess correctly who is up for the... well not chop, but vote. Now while there may be no bad guys amongst us (probably) this introduces a lot of competition, and means that we are all out for number 1.

And just to show I am not immune to selfish actions:

vote Ch3tan

Will is correct, surely the majority of you, myself included, voted for me to get it tonight.

Aph3x. Sorry mate but I know a few people on the general forums by name and your name rang a bell the least (probably because I only started coming to these forums very recently). It was by this line of thinking I thought I'd go for the person I knew the least as they may be more liable to draw votes from people instead of them voting for their friends. Cheap I know but there wasn't exactly a lot else to go on ;)

I've said I didn't do a no vote, you'll be able to find that out tomorrow/tonight if anything that happens to us is done publicly.

Well as we've got the whole honest thing going, I voted for Will. But unless the majority voted for him i'd be up for the chop anyway, so no real differnce between voting for him or a no-vote!

My no vote stands as it is, not happy to kill someone off just to see what tommorow brings.

You are NOT killing them. Please re-read the rules. Toht did not say what would happen to those that were voted, he did not say they would be out of the game. This mis-conception is going to lead to more of us facing consequences. The rules lead us to believe that the punishment is worse for those that get the vote wrong than the person voted off. Oh and I still think that those pushing for a no-vote have voted no-vote.
