We are talkign about 1v1 battles (which most assasin confrontations are).

You tell me how many SB have even considered attacking you solo (let aloen tried). I can bet a very few, and of those few you would have walked away alive (assumign said SB was equal con).

Narve has killed me one on one, and actually, I reckon he's the only one to have done so since I've been 50.. (Well, I was looking the other way and had the wrong task bar on!). Weirdus tries alot <chuckles> He (or is it she?) especially goes for me when I sit down.. he dosen't survive long being only blue-eyed but has lots of guts and is really cute! So some do try.

Heh, yeah, your AE is mean! I'm pretty sure you hit me for 7 whole damage the other night! I really did enjoy slamming you though, I should do it more often..

Don't panic - I found out yesterday that the fastest player crafted weapons around are dirks at about 2.3 seconds, but that the DPS on them is only about 15.3 (not certain on precise numbers)... so it may only be that I am using my 16.2 DPS dropped swords rather than player crafted hence less quality but 2.3 speed still.... to quote an armsman watching me solo a goblin yesterday :

'OMFG! How Fast?'

<wanders off to try to get precise figures and calculations sorted out>

Drops are usless for RvR unless they are legion or dragon. You start giving yourself a 10% chance to miss simply because of the bonus differentiation. Do not use drops in RvR unless you want to be as accurate as an imperial stormtrooper. Barns, doors, insides, spring to mind.

Arcanium maine gauch or stilleto's are a decent compromise between speed and damage. I have 2 of each and vary their use. My favourite is the gauche in right hand (for bigger PA) and the stilleto in left hand (interrupting casters and breaking pbt). Mix that with MoP and duellist's reflexes and you will do well.
