Point accepted in part, but tell me, you walk down a street in any city, and see some kids/adults who are existing in a community that is being terrorised by locals (often children) believing that they are untouchable by the law and tell me this behaviour exists only in the game?

The fact is we are living in a blame society - it's always someone elses fault - and you see this wherever a collective of people exist. A patch is delayed and what is the forum like for a few days? Hell, we don't even have to go that far, we've had a 'skipped' Friday News and the daggers are out for GOA. Same with real life, if anything hinders some peoples ability to do "whatever we like", they immidiately start blaming, insulting, swearing, even resorting to violence, and the usual outcome is that they are not held accountable for their actions (ie diminished responsibility for an extreme view).

but has there in any time been an other society than this? I mean there is the expression dont kill the messagers as messagers of bad news have always been blamed for purely bringing the bad news. I am not sure if our current society is better in not blaming people, but I think we(being the whole society) handle ourself better than we ever used to. People always claim that we are suddenly more aggresive or that we do other things more than we used to. While atleast half the time its just that we now pay more attention to our actions than earlier and that we now dont hide certain facts.

About freedom, it isnt really new that when you give people freedom that they will abuse it for a while. Later on people will grow out of it and instead of abusing it will use it as they created norms and people are frowned up on if you dont follow them. Off course there will still be people who dont care about it and abuse it, but there will be most likely be less than now. It will just take some time for people to get used to this.
Besides goverments might make some laws about conduct on the internet, all be it hard to control at the moment.

That's one of those reactions I don't get, first of all this is my point of view. And you dont see mee say NP suck CF suck hell no they are gooood and I respect em for that just makes me mad I'm not as good as some of their ppl.... yet In albion GoL is the best RvR guild there is (I don't know status of FC,BF,BL,... RP wise but there belong to the top too)
If you say they cant win 1FG vs 1FG you dont know much about GoL. And set up a match ur FG vs GoL FG somewhere private and u'll see how much we can do Saying they zerg... well if theres a 130 albs in emain @ prime time it's kinda normal u get zergs very easely so dont blame 1 guild for it. And yes I'm in GoL but don't get me wrong I am far from being a folower so I'm not sucking up in this thread or something. You prolly just got pwned by them sometime.

Anyway back to thread. I think the main prob is that ppl forget it's a game. Ofc it's not just some game.. this game does take alot of effort and time to be good/accomplish something with it.
I mean I'm playing this game since open beta, I deleted a lvl 43 char 4 months into the game and had to start all over, I took loads of breaks (4 already being 1month+ long) I'm not some uber player (I am better then greg and reg tho *Wishfull thinking is nice * ) And yes I hate too lose just as much as other players but I dont nag about it I dont got to BW making a zerg thread cause we lost vs 3 FG.
I lose I try again I try harder it's that simple. And no not everything goes as planned but when it does it sure does give a nice sense of satisfaction :great:
But with all this in mind I still only play for one reason : The fun
Every player who knows me (most ex-DVE,LoD,SF) know I hate xping beyond anything sitting 3-6 hours @ 1 spot killing same mob over and over = torture to me and frankly I dont get them ppl who can xp for days without some change I mean where's the fun @ it? Ok sometimes when u r with yer best mates it's great but for the rest of time it's dull.
Anyway keep the game for the fun if u r some uber hardcore playe who's just a tiny bit of a bad loser you and you go whine and flame you just mess up the fun for other ppl.
All of the more known players got that down for a long time now dont see them whine flame.... often.
Anway I just hoped that thread would be able to maybe start some changes (Last one about balance RvR grps did miracles albs actually got some little orga going )

Anyway I need to clean my room and study some more so to you'all HAVE FUN GIVZ FUN AND DON'T FLAME .... PEACE! :great:

Most people come to barrysworld when they are bored at work or just unable to play. Few people come because they have something on their heart. I dont think its strange to see lots of senseless posts. You can consider these forums as another form of entertainment - as that is why most people come around here.
