Exactly, and by extension of that thought we get to one of the probable causes being parents and teachers' hands being tied by stupid mordern mamby pamby rules about discipline.

After helping to teach Maths at a local comprehensive - I've come to the conclusion the whole education system in Britain holds children back.

Algebra needs to be driven in better at a younger age.
Teachers need more training & be aware of more teaching techniques etc.
Teachers should want children to succeed.
More support for children during lunch times & afterschool etc.
Not to teach children the 'quick' way of doing things that is applicable for exams but instead why and how things happen.
Application, application, application. How many adults and teenagers could tell you one use of differentiation in their home? Exactly.

I just hope to God Labour or Tories never get rid of Grammar Schools. The country's future, fron what I can see, largely depends on the students that come out of them.

Working out the rate of change of your wifeys mood as compared to the rate of change your sobriety post-work!

We're actually Curry Capital of Britain, Jealous, I know you are :)

I used to live in Bradford, the proper curry capital. Now Nottingham - so two reasons to hate me :)
