After helping to teach Maths at a local comprehensive - I've come to the conclusion the whole education system in Britain holds children back.
Algebra needs to be driven in better at a younger age.
Teachers need more training & be aware of more teaching techniques etc.
Teachers should want children to succeed.
More support for children during lunch times & afterschool etc.
Not to teach children the 'quick' way of doing things that is applicable for exams but instead why and how things happen.

I just hope to God Labour or Tories never get rid of Grammar Schools. The country's future, fron what I can see, largely depends on the students that come out of them.
