Help erm vista being a bit ghei

ok well so I suddenly got a message that explorer had stopped working while trying to access a sd card. fine and dandy, explorer restarted itself and all was peachy.....except that vista didn't seem to be particularly keen on working again.

so, I rebooted, but where this is normally the sovereign remedy for all bad things doze related vista seemed to have taken a turn for the worse: it took AGES to reboot, then it took even longer to start back up. when back up and running vista seemed to be very sluggish: I would click a program, and there would be a long pause before whatever would actually run. once it ran there was no lag or pauses though.


hrm, should I be worried?

What do you have in the way of external devices plugged in other than the usual Keyboard/Mouse/Monitor/Speakers type jazz? Any USB devices like the card reader still in there?
