On a side note, I’ve come to the personal viewpoint that more and more it seems that the best thing for these forums would be if the "General" forum were just plain eradicated altogether. Once again a thread which was originally posted with a fairly serious intent, i.e. I don't care who's good idea it was the current modifications to the forum layouts suck rectum (even if they may have some dark future purple use or not) has degenerated into:

• Remarks about my sister - which I frankly find pathetic and disappointing on the basis that:
  
  a) None of you have ever met her, with the exception of Robin (who isn't special or anything, my sister just happened to be with me at the Tenacious D concert) & b) Having met some of you at the BB not so long ago, i find it a bit mind numbing that you guys can do that.
  
  So, on that note. You can all frankly piss off with your remarks about my sister and bloody leave any of my family members out of all your post going forward, as they've got nothing to do with any of you. I hope the bold nature of that type makes it extra clear that I’m not taking that lightly.
  
• Frankly disgusting pictures - which I won't even bother with, because obviously nothing will happen in that regard
  
• More kitten pictures - i mean really, just what's the point

Hell I can't be bothered to continue with this. I'd appreciate it if one of the moderators could please lock this thread, because although we're supposed to be able to close/delete threads that we've started ourselves, my account here still (i.e. I have mentioned this a couple of times politely before) doesn't allow me to do this.
