Enjoyble fights last night, hibbies :)

Thanks goes to the 2 tank heavy/hybrid hibbi groups out last night. We had a bunch of quite entertaining fights versus you guys with our tank heavy group. Good to move away from the all-caster rvr scene for a change There were a few unfortunate add situations going on but it wasnt something we tried doing on purpose, sorry for those.

Aye thanks for the scraps really good fun, couple that must of lasted 10 mins.

Shame that we can't discuss things too openly here regards adding within inviting the ban stick (Is there room for another section where we can freely discuss 8v8 rvr with the inevitable adding discussions?!).

Several fights ruined which is a real real shame, but overal things looking up. We went in on a certain group of albs you were fighting after they ruined a fight of ours, so apologies for that, we shouldnt of really, but our group was really peed off with them.

To all fg's I think we need to get away from the crazyness that irvr has caused and start all respecting fg fights again.

Also got to say thanks to one alb group out there who saw us fighting on several occasions and left us to it /salute. Didnt catch you're names, but pm me your group and we'll make sure to return the favour.

Well technically they werent adding as they were attacking both hibs and mids, but still quite frustrating when your having a good fight for a bunch of high RR albs to get in the way.
And yus, it was the ebay brigade.

We've builded up a "summer group" and try and get out when we can. No real set days. This week and a part of last week also we have been very active and hope to be out again tonight if we can find some more dps characters (me on Krafiks paccer so god help us).

Its not a real set full group but more a set group of people as in we have a pool of players we shift around: low realmranks, semi-high(tops at rr9) realmranks, old timers who returned, rusty ppl and more up-to-date rvr players. We go with what we have and hope for the best

Strange that after we only managed to get 2 fg-fg fights even though we were (mostly) away from the zerg areas, and got steamrolled by 2fg mids on stick or hibs adding etc etc that my attitude had descended by about to 2130"if it moves it dies".

Buff, go benow, run around down near berks tower 4 plains, rebuff get rolled by 2fg mids, run around near benow docks and benow 3, get rolled by the same 2fg mids on stick, go near eras and narrowly escape via speedward and mezz from the same 2fg mids, head around near berks t4 plains again and get a fg fight with hibs - start winning then get a fg or more of mids add on us and ignore the hibs etc etc.

Got some revenge mind by wiping most of 2fg of mids in one double bomb just below benow 3. Aside from that a sucky night that wasn't helped by not being able to kite the tank groups half the time snice we only had one char with speedward in group (was trying to work out for about an hour why we weren't doing so great then i realised 'bing' we only had one ward).

Instant RvR is good for fast realm points, shit for group-group fights. Got to the point with insta-adds from behind every single fight where Kairamar was asking in vent if anyone was x-realming - thats how bad it was.

PS If they albs were high-rr they weren't us, me and hells were the only 8+ in the group for most of the night - most people weren't playing their mains due to having a temporary cleric shortage.
And whoever the red dwarf healer is, christ mate a minstrel beat you to mezz twice! Need to work on that maybe

Custodia seemed inserperable from their tower lastnight. Wish they'd come out and joined the fun. All it would take is a couple more alb groups and a couple more mid groups and things would be really good. They'd also have to give it a fair go at not piling in to other fights, but i'm sure if they openly stated their intention as wanting fg/fg fights then we would all give them the benefit of the doubt and let them prove themselves honourable.

Was nice fighting the Alb zerg at Beno, seemed like some new tictacs worked quite nicely after being steamrolled as a rr3 group with only 7 people most of the evening by 2 fg Albs and later 2 fg Mids on stick.
Actually managed to kill that Mid rr8-11 group when they finally decided to go as 1 FG, Just don't know why not more Hib groups run with an Animist as they quite evil in FG fights

actually dont think we camped the tower as such last night, we went in wen it was in flames and wiped the hibs there a couple of times. CM did have a few fights, but mostly in water and we always loose water fights (even more then land fights hehe). we usually run a dont add policy, but we got to let u all have ur CM whine as we havent taken a relic or keep in a few days!

indeed there are a good few groups that just plough on in. Although accidents do happen and the key is not to be too sensitive about it. I am sure CM would be happy to play FG RvR if they could identify just where it is supposed to be?

It is dissappointing that at most now you can expect maybe 2-3 decent fights a night. Everyone who wants FG RvR needs to sit up and listen because more and more peeps are considering just quitting for the rest of the summer.

If you want FG fights identify a decent place for them away from the zerg and then itentify those who are not willing to play ball. We need some sort of system and a clear definition of where to roam.

My post wasn't intended to be an add-whine. I accept it will happen, only time i have a problem with it is when people whine about group-group fights then tower-hump or zerg-surf like some mid groups did last night. If i'm zerg-surfing/port breaking and i get 5fg of mids/hibs in the face i don't bitch about it.

I meant the time near berks plain when your group and mine met head-head and you got flutemezzed by me, then again over near benow 3 slope (that time was me being sneaky as i can start flutemezz without line of sight - so if im smart i deliberately break LoS on the group using terrain, start running flute then pop into view after 3 seconds - hey presto insta-mezz.

Edit: KF seem to be running at least every-other night at the moment so look forward to some more fun. Pity most of the regular gg's have gone temporarily inactive - alb is suffering from this too mind - only regular gg's i see is CM/DA aside from ours.
