One problem with England is that the public expects too much.

There is no way on earth we are gonna play the pretty soccer that France play coz we just aint got the players. Beckham is good but in NO WAY does he influence a game like Z Zidane would.

The important thing is that we won. I must say that Albania really impressed me. I think they will give the Krauts a run when they play them at home.

3 wins outta 3 for Erickson. Can't ask for much better than that.

Macmanaman is CRAP! He can run with the ball, but that's it. Keeps losing it and doing crap passes.

England need work still, but they are getting there.

The only thing I can say about England is that they have some amazing players, but if you put them all on a field together it just doesn't seem to work. They have the potential to be amazing, but somehow don't manage it. Maybe the foreign coach idea was a good one afterall, maybe he'll bring something new in or... oh I dunno.

On the other hand, Scotland do very well with the squad they have available to them - considering the players that they have they do make good use of them. I do think that Craig Brown should bring in some of the younger players though. They should've scored more goals against San Marino too.
