Emain RvR 26/04/04

Thanks Mids and Hibs for some nice big ol' style battles at APK-AMG last night. :wub:

Made a nice change and reminded me of the old days when Mids used to have a big battleline every night in front of APK.

Was most I've enjoyed the game in a long time.

Wasn't talking about zerging was talking about nice big battles, Mids used some nice tactics a few times last night like when 3/4 of them sacraficed themselves to pull albs towards cemetary then main body hit.

Used rather more skill than racing round at mach 5 where the main skill involved is fastest finger to the mez button.

3fg mids camping apk-amg along with approx 10 sbs/hunters most of the evening, and you wonder why the random low rr albs have to zerg up to pass?
( mael = rr9 group, EL = some rr10's, BaF = rr7 or so)

Having a fg get trashed by 8fg isn't any less fair than 1fg butchering a soloer they catch. And before get "Oh but fg are intented" blah blah blah, so are larger forces, hence battlegroups.

Never been caught by a group and had the rest of them stand back while one of them fights me, so why expect a larger force to be spectators while 1fg engages another.

And when mids finaly stoped camping amg it didnt take long untill albs camped mmg and back and forth all the time.. Sad days imo and realy hope rvr dosnt go back into that.

Seem to remember it wasn't that mids went "Oh this really isn't right we'll stop camping apk". Was just that Albs finally got enough lvl50s to drive them away.

Personally prefer it when Mids camp us. Saves effort of having to go and find em.

Seen from my point of view:

Yes BaF/HoS - "more or less some Norrsken alliance camping-squad-event" were pbaoe-camping apk non-stop, we tried to pull the alb-zerg from PK so the camping would stop, but failed. Coz the "strong" Norssken-campers had just about every ToA-node up and were just killing albs one bye one. Lame: yes, effecive rp farm: doubt it, due to 90% res sick albs. But again - their form of fun.
Camping always form teh zerg and will always do so. Just another night in emain down the drain due to "the happy campers".

Eh? sure, after having spent 30 mins circling Emain we decided to go alb-taunting at apk until the inevitable wipeout which would hopefully bring at least some alb-group out in the open. We run as one full group and we certainly don't go on camping-events. I'm sorry if you disapprove of the way we play the game but as far as I'm concerned, any RvR is better than no RvR. I too prefer the fg vs. fg fights but I'm not picky, we go where the action is.

Only reason we camped apk was because after running around for 40min without seeing a single alb grp out we decided to go to apk because apparently that´s the only place you are unless u have 5fg+
