Having characters on different realms on the same server is against the CoC and bannable. Seen some players banned on my old US server so i know first hand.

That there are only 2 english servers in Europe is not the problem here. Also you say you have only 1 alt, so play on prydwen.

Where did I say I only got one alt? There's no official word that this is not allowed on Europe servers and clearly it shouldnt be because we CANT play on all 3 realms! You still didnt give an example of me teaming up with NP, like you said I "always do" in the first post, would you DELETE your minstrel to test out another realm and see what it is like, I hardly want to delete my ranger and miss all the RvR for the time I'm exping my another char, just because I want to see other realms WITH MY FRIENDS? As said, I got chars on Prydwen too, and it's totally ridiculous we arent allowed to play all 3 realms on an english based server! The packet didnt say I either have to learn german or french to get the whole game!

Excactly the same case with me, are we supposed to give up the hard work of 1 month's PLAYTIME [or any playtime fs!] to see what another realm is like, with people I know and who I know will want to play as much as I do.

Not mentioned, as said GOA governs their own servers and if they havent said it's against their rules, Mythic has no say in it, GOA doesnt represent us an opportunity to play all three realms on English based servers, which kind of forces us to create alternative options to play all three realms at the same time. You're saying stuff I havent done and try to make me look bad because of it, I'm only there to enjoy the game and obviously dont take it as seriously as you do.

EDIT: Im also waiting for GOA's stance in this if they ever bother to answer, I dont see a single reason why that should be disallowed since we cant play the whole game then!

It's paragraph 18 of the "Prohibited Conduct" section of the Mythic code of conduct.

18. You may NOT cross-team spy. This means you are not allowed to have characters in different realms on the same server (usually used for the purpose of spying on opposing realms). This includes characters on different accounts.

Note that the rule does not say that you can have characters in different realms on the same server if you promise not to spy. It says that you cannot have characters in more than one realm per server under any circumstances, whether or not you are actually spying.

But since this was only recently added to Mythic's CoC, and since GOA doesn't have anything about it in their code of conduct for the European servers, no-one is quite sure whether or not GOA considers it cheating as Mythic does. My guess is that GOA will add the same restriction as Mythic once the issue is raised, but we won't know until somebody officially tells us.

GOA runs the servers here and the Europe server rules dont have anything to do with the ones in the US, as it's impossible to play the whole game if it's so atm, EVEN if you bought 2 copies you wouldnt be allowed to play the whole game, which I feel is kind of stupid, as said, there is no mention of any violation I've done on GOA's site, the Camelot Herald has nothing to do with Europe server, CH isnt linked from the Europe site, and I'm not sure if it's linked from the manual either! AND the game box / manual, or anything didnt say I have to know french / german to play the whole game.

I will now remove the SB from my sig and probably retire him until Eble or Jazhara gets a reply from GOA, but as I've said, a person who has only the resources gotten from the manual, Europe site or the game box, could NOT have known this isnt allowed. [You can prove me wrong here though, as I didnt read every page of the manual]. I just wanted to enjoy the game again outside of RvR and right away I get flamed for stuff I didnt even do...

ive got an idea, lets patch ALL GOA's server with Mythics US patch - and create a build-in englishtrainer in the game so germans and frenches can learn some english

its funny, we can get patched same as US gets, but since germany and france dont "know" JACK english, we have to wait for them. This is no treath or something against germans and french, just fact.

No offence anyone, i just had to said that coz that is what taking patching that long

Don't think we will get one. They don't even have server GMs like in US - and they promised in beta to do events on the servers.

I'm not whining in any case just saying that it is against the CoC.

Uhm, Novamir, i left the so proud Guild of Finster and i'm on my own. I don't need anyone to help me kill you if we meet 1:1. But that won't happen in RvR (glad about it - it's the surprise factor and the grouping that keeps the RvR alive imo).

Germans could say that you should learn german, why does everyone always have to learn english?

Yes, sure they might think so - but its not fun waiting for translation JUST because GOA have got german and french servers.

If they would patch exc/pryd now, i wouldnt mind - but i know that wont work coz then everbody wants to play at exc/pryd.

Do a poll and ask ppl if they could go for instant patch, but with the loss of no-translation - France and Germany arent overall good at english, but look at u jazhara and finster i.e - u both have better english then me - so if u ask ppl on stonehenge, lyonesse etc. Would they rather have their server patched way quickly than now or is the german- frenchtranslation that important?

Sorry for messing in this thread btw, just want the damn patch :/

It is possible! But we have to wait until the german and french translations are done before WE can get patched -

But yea, GOA could patch pryd/excali now if they wanted - could ask mythic to send them 1.49 and patch us with it. Unfortunately they dont coz of german/french servers
