Nice crossteaming

On US Servers one of your Accounts would have been banned by the time now.

One Char in Hibernia and one in Midgard on one Server is considered Crossteaming and against the Code of Conduct.

Also very nice to tag team with your Hib Char and Nolby Pride all the time.

You can be happy that GOA is very lame with everything they do.

For starters, I dont See a Problem with this, Aslong as;

You Are NOT Using it For a Personal Advantage, Or The Advantage Of the Other Realm.

Being part of there Set Group, And Also Joinning Nolby Pride With The Group, I Can tell You Guild Chat Has Been Turned Of :clap:
So Even If We Wanted To Gain A mass Advantage, Over The Likes Of Raids etc, He Couldn't.

it is against the coc to use other characters agaisnt your realm
such as using an alt on mid/ex to tell your guild on hib/ex that mid/ex are planning a raid.

i have an alt on mid/ex, and i would never do such a thing.
and the same goes for the other people i play with there.


so to you, my dear Jazhara :upyours:

if you say you will not do such a thing then why haven't you added your alts name in your sig? or are you afraid that mids will totally abandon him because you kill them in RvR?

and last time i checked, you are an alb.
so how would elea be breaking the coc if he gave info about albs he saw on his mid, or whatever happened to his guild in hib.

so how would that be working agaisnt either of his two realm chrs?

that is exactly why.

some people know who my alt is, they havnt been rude, insulting, or even told me to go back to hib...
they have chated openly, not of raids of course, but there are probably some people in midgard who wouldnt be comfortable grping, rvring, or even chating with someone who has a chr on both midgard, and hibernia.

most people in midgard are nice, and accepting.
some however, as soon as you say you play on hib aswell, start spouting out rubbish along the lines of 'SPY!!'

got a little bored with hib, so a few ppl decided to make midgard alts/mains, i joined them ;)

its been soooooo much fun so far
new mobs
new spells
new landscape
new people

this sort of thing sux :) if u wanna make a alt on mid goto prydwyn no need for you to goto mid excal unless its for purpose of some sort of recon . this aint pointed just at hibs crossing to mid its pointed at all peeps who play 2 realms on same server . rp farmers and spys suck :upyours:

Erm what's the problem with me having chars on two different realms on same server? It's not like I use the other one to get an advantage with the other, I just wanna exp with it and eventually do some RvR on the Mid side aswell. Crossteaming? How have I been crossteaming? Last time I saw a NP in Emain I got ganked by them, twice, and after that I shot a few of them, actually, now I even LOOK for those NP targets ;). Telling me to go to Pryd/Mid if I wanna exp a Mid char and have fun in RvR is utter bollox too, as I also have Alb alts, and I dont like to step on the winning side like so many Albs... I know people on both servers that's true but only NP / some hib players were starting alts on Excalibur so I really didnt have a choice, and it's not *my* account, it's my friends and I get to borrow it once in a while to exp some, not always for my dissappointed as I couldnt exp my sb at all last weekend >.<. So far I've done no crossteaming, and if you are rezerring to the Emain fight yesterday? When you were chased by that yellow berzerker, I chose to shoot you as you were a bigger threat, I was quite surprised myself that the zerker didnt kill me after that but let me leave alone as I have never before talked to that guy, but like the saying goes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

EDIT: And due to GOA's utter crap management of servers I'm *FORCED* to either be satisfied with only getting 2/3 of the game or somehow getting a second account to enjoy the *whole* game. And I cannot say it more, I have not, or will not, use my alt char to get an advantage with the other one.

Erm the problem is that it is specifically and explicitly defined as cheating by Mythic in their rules of conduct as recently clarified here: http://www.camelotherald.com/more/314.php

It doesn't say, "you're not allowed to do it unless you promise not to spy", or "you are allowed to do it if you swear that you're being good." It says, 'This means you are not allowed to have characters in different realms on the same server." Full stop.

Of course, GOA's charter of good behaviour says no such thing, as far as I know, although it is generally implied that things considered cheating on the American servers are also considered cheating here.

If this was the US, I could have dozens of ACTIVE RvR servers to pick from with people who speak english as the majority, I could understand this in the Europe if we actually had the chance to play all 3 realms on an english server. And it's still not "my" account, but a friend's which I get to loan AT TIMES, not when I want to =/

I want an example of this btw, I cant really remember ever teaming up with NP with my Hib char, and like the earlier link said it's not against rules anymore even IF I did it, which I dont.

You can ask your fellow Albs if they've ever seen killed by Eleasias msg in Emain, I get 90% of my RP's from Albs, so yes maybe I'm farming, but im farming from the zerling Alb :]

if they recieve a complaint about a user 'spying', they will probably investigate it
if they are found to be spying, one, or both of their accounts will most likely be terminated
which is why, i do not spy :)

yes there is the need
1) midgard own prydwen, which sucks
2) different people on prydwen
3) if i want to play on mid/ex aswell as hib/ex, i bloody well will.
4) i do not farm rp
5) i do not spy.

Ahh im so glad to hear that. For me that means that i never have to release when i am in emain, think u ressed/healed me in battles more than anyone did in this game. Keep up the good work! :)

I only said it's not nice to 'team up' with mids, not that it's not allowed. Their is an official statement from Mythic that this behavior isn't against the CoC.

Having characters on different realms on the same server is against the CoC and bannable. Seen some players banned on my old US server so i know first hand.

That there are only 2 english servers in Europe is not the problem here. Also you say you have only 1 alt, so play on prydwen.

And Eblessair, grow up, no need to use insulting icons.

Well, this sort of behaviour disturbs me big time. Regardless of what you are or aren't going to do in either realm, there is an obvious and clear conflict of interest. You should delete your chars from 1 realm imho.

However, you aren't the first to do this, and you won't be the last. I suspect the population of people with multi-accounts will blossom as more and more people leave the game and accounts are bought and sold. I suspect this will grow into a more serious problem on UK servers, as there are several US servers, all english speaking. We have 2 ( meaning we cant even play all 3 realms concurrently ) and sadly Prydwen is essentially a non-event RvR wise. I just hope that every1 is as honest and upfront about it as you appear to be Eblessair, but we all know that aint gonna happen.....
