El Cheapo Laptop

I'm after a cheap laptop to basically watch DVDs/downloaded TV, play football manager and surf the internet. My current work project means I spend most evenings sat in a hotel room, and as Surrey is so fucking quiet, I could do with something to watch crap and play FM on. Ideally I'm after something for less than £300, however I sincerely doubt this is viable, so options please!

That should do the trick. Change the hardware support to '90 days collect and return' which will bring the price down to £349.

Not bad if only a little over budget.

Otherwise www.shopacer.co.uk have a 'sale' on with a similar specced laptop for £389.

I would personally go with the dell though. While the acers do offer good value for money the build quality isn't as good as most.

I'll have an Acer 3003WLMi up for sale within a few days, same spec as on that link except with a legit version of XP Pro. Just over a year old, as new condition except for a few scratches on the bodywork, screen is perfect though. Barely used it tbh.

Was going to ebay it but could probably work out a favourable deal if it fits what you need.
