(And yes i am an anime fan, who over the last few years has taken an interest in Japanese Culture and society, this by no means makes me an expert...From your posts i'd also say your no expert, i hope for your sake you never leave your house, the world might scare you to know whats some people get up too!

Where did I say the whole of Japan's population has a fetish for soiled underwear? You're having trouble interpreting words, so I'd suggest you stick to watching cartoons.

Presumably if it does cause trouble they can use the fact that it was bought/sold as an excuse to ban it. I find this quite questionable and don't agree with it myself. I have no idea what their stance on buying and selling items is but it does make you wonder given that account sales are "unofficially" alright. There doesn't seem to be much difference between the two.
Anyway, even though I don't agree with it, given that Delket's account is only up at £330 currently the idea of buying it up and then cashing in every item (which would presumably generate an insane amount of money given how much rare stuff there is) on top of the already large amount of plat and then selling it off in chunks on Ebay is quite appealing.
Say you could manage 300 plat (a pretty small sum given how much is on there already) which is then split up into 10 plat chunks and auctioned off at the rate of maybe 5-10 a month. You would only need to get £11 per chunk of plat to break even. Any more and you are making a profit. Looking at how much plat goes for on US servers (which have a much more mature economy and a lot of power seller type people providing a semi-professional plat buying service) you should easily be able to make more than that for 10 plat on Prydwen. At the end of it you are left with a level 50 ML 10 minstrels that can be sold on with just a basic SC suit to make even more money.
Furthermore because the seller is so well known you are pretty safe from being ripped off. After all if he misrepresented the contents on Ebay you could track him down in real life
When I look at my own counrty, Holland, and see all the total bullshit, like that the country seems split up into 2 groups of people, criticism on fucking everything that's on tv, the intolerance and the violence and amount of crime on the streets and in the news, I think japan has a better society when I look at the tolerance, amount of crime, the step ahead of us in technology, no "god" or "allah", the way the government works, compared to everything I see in Holland. Sure, there's downsides too, but I don't know everything about them, although I don't know all the positive things either.Bubble said:I wouldn't call any Society 'Better' than another tho

Don't bitch about account selling, don't look at it like it's something totally wrong or unjust, an account is something that belongs to a person, and you can sell it if you like. (there has even been a british woman who sold her virginity, everything seems for sale no?)

Japan's economic position in the world is also so damn good because of the good society they have.
But anyway, they accept almost anything, like the online game market in mmorpg cash and stuff, and then the dutch guy here is whining when his neighbour sells his account, get my point?
