Havent seen anything on these forums or in-game that is anything other than tame and not really very lame. Sure there's a lot of immaturity around but thats always the case with online gaming. Yes its loverly to have duels BUT 99% of ppl get RP`s and RP`s give RR`d making your char better,,

So, if no RP`s then id be fine with it,,
I wudve done what SUB did (did before neway) mebbe id be able to do more now,, love to see a mass mezz on 50+ unsuspecting albs/mids (o wait did that b4 at hadrians wall )

I must say, I never knew so many people cared about others getting rps, EVERYONE rp-farms in some way or another, live with it.
If people wanna duel, why not let them? why spoil peoples fun cos your so worried about rps? (dont give me the crap about its against GOA's CoC)

Want me to tell you what having lots of rps means? jack sh*t

. you defend lots of keeps.
. you have ranged attacks.

I play for fun, the thing I enjoy most is going RvR with a nice grp, who are a good laugh, nice to chat to, and can hold their own on the battle field.

But honestly, why worry about if people have more rps than you? it doesnt make them better or worse than you.
And plz dont tell me that higher RR's make a difference (only one that will is the RR5 = lvl 51 type thing and that isnt even in our patch yet)

My name in Jumpgate was Shaeffer - pioneer and master of the NovaTensity....ring any bells??? I used to kill "Sang Sang He The Man" 5 out of 6 times in the sim Although since I flew wing with all of those you mention above most the time it was all sim based duelling...and a great blast. As for EF...crap pilots to a man but masters of any speed hack they could get their hands on, and all CS lamers. OV never cheated btw, but were a pisspoor crew after Beta.

first time she beckoned me , we started fighting and Etha was down do 10% and me to , so she didnt step away so why should i ?
after rest she beckoned i thought , why not ?we started fighting again and i had 80% and she had about 10-15% , we bouth stepped away, /bow and rested

about sub venomski and hallard , they just wanted rp's thats all
attacking ppl without beckon or warning when ppl are toghether for dueling

as you can see we did 2 duels , 1 with dead and 1 WITHOUT dead
not killing eachother at same amount

good duels were with Sub (wtf i missed 5x slam), murbank, lots of others..shame it had to be spoiled

people who aren't buffed were honourable i didnt have a buff for the whole fights, and only once with a proc killed some1

I have often been reading theese forums for a good laugh and i have restrained myself from posting in here thus getting involved in the flamewars going on here.

I seem to have missed this thread thou and now i feel i must defend myself from this personal attack and uninformed criticism
since it's no way near the thruth.

I remember this day very clearly, it started off with me having a duel vs talivar and his level 50 blademaster friend we agreed on dueling with buffs and everything went well, then more mids and hibs showed up for duels, at this stage the mids had no rezzer so my buffbot had to do all the rezzing leaving no time for me to duel. Some time passed when alot of albs decided they also wanted to duel and after about 2 hours it was around 50+ ppl doing duels, in other words it had grown from a friendly duel to rp farming.

I had 2 more duels during this whole time wich i lost, vs a guy named stone i think correct me if i'm wrong who made me fumble 4 times in that fight and another 3 parried, kinda hard to beat that. reason i did duel him was that oklahoma asked me to duel him since he was with no doubt buffed others said the same thing.

Then i had a duel vs a arsmen wich name i don't remember however he did hit me for 500-600 4 times in a row with a sword
i guess my low slash resist wich was only 10% at that time combined with 20% damage from relic bonuses and the fact that my first attack landed on a hib who stood to close was not so good.

Anyways now a discussion started in celticfist channel about buffed or not buffed in duels i have realised that the majority of the people wants to duel unbuffed and i accept that, i prefer buffed thou since i do belive some classes has an advantage unbuffed vs others i will not go deeper into this subject at the present time anways i declared that anybody who wants to duel me with buffs are welcome to do so. The most funny thing about this whole disscussion was that the hibs in the channel where swearing that no hibs would never use buffs, then all of a sudden matinex got killed and guess what? he was buffed now the other hibs in the channel said we did not say anything about matinex!! enough said about this i guess.

Now something interesting happend novamir walked up to me stood looking at me and he attacked me, just once then backed off then a bluecon hib did the same thing i did nothing, now both of them walked up to my shaman and kill her now i decided now to live up to my class name, i went berzerk and attacked novamir wich of course stunned me right away now julle the skald who had seen this decided to help me so he mezzed novamir, my stun did wear off and i went after the blue con hib wich started to run i did caught him and ended his life.

I turned around and did see novamir still mezzed and next to him matinex sat and resting after killing somebody and he was probably buffed again, at this point i was upset so i wanted some revenge i attacked matinex and killed him (he was hurt), now novamir was free and went after me and i had about 70% hp left at this stage after some healing. I started to run away from him only to turn around and doublefrost him wich he was not prepared for since i did not get an attack back, the duel started good for me rotating around him only to stop when my doublefrost was ready and with 2 parries from my side i killed him, i did not have zerk and he obviously did not have his moose.

I sat down happy in the grass suprised that i won and with very low hp, now novamir and matinex got rezzed and they both attacked me and killed me, during this time sub and some of his friends have entered the scene and started to kill people here and there, i got rezzed only to get killed by matinex and novamir
again.

Novamir left me alone due to other mids attacking him. I got rezzed again but matinex still wanted some blood so we was both fighting with ress sickness for a long time with both getting heals, 2 bad he won.

Rezzed again....and now it finally seem to be peace i got my ress sickness off and started to watch some duels then novamir and Tdaer an elf ranger stood next to me i see the ranger aiming at me with his bow i thought it was more or less a joke but no he did actually fire at me for 5xx damage from a very short range.

My reaction i did go berzerk turned around attacked Tdaer and killed him in one hit now novamir and some other hibs killed me. I had enough off this childish behaviour so i released, ported back only to hear the duels are in chaos due to mids killing others.

I started to walk up the hill to the duel area only to see novamir being chased by sub and slim down the hill in my direction i got to him in time to get the final hit the revenge is so sweet!.

Now novamir decide to kick me from celticfist with the message "fuck off"

This is what happended this day i doubt anybody care that much but as you can see the story is somewhat different then novamir manage to describe or should i say failed to explain anything at all rather then his low iq and that he has a vocabulary of an 10 year old kid.

Finally i want to apologize to matinex for attacking you, but at the present time i was assuming you where teamed up with novamir.

He gets buff, we kill shamy then sit again. Healer resses shamy, rebuff, we kill it again then sit again, we point to the shamy, etc... Hoping he'd get a clue.

Well after some time he just legs it leaving that poor healer alone. We were so pissed that we ganked the poor dorf (who was maybe the only nice guy around, but well we're barbarians, bith mids and hibs so you can understand).

Nice display I say, got my definitive idea of wrathofleggit being a sad git that day (besides having a liking for ridiculous names).

As for those coming over and over with what GOA said, 2 things:

Had very nice duels and lots of them in Odin's last time. Got no rps and so didn't my opponents cause we stopped all duel before death. So it's for fun and everyone there is having fun and agreeing to it. As for people that seem to think we found a fast and easy way to make rps... hmm best way I found is still to find a good group and run along in emain, even if we dueled to death, fighted non stop and if I wasn't loosing any fight (which is far from being the case actually) I don't see how you could make more rps than a good group can get you in a small time. I you realyl so focused about rps, buy a bow and learn to stealth.

As for what GOA says, well GOA said also "we aim to patch abotu 2 weeks after US patching dates"
Seriously I can understand rules against cheating, griefing, event obstruction and offensive names/languages but I'm not ready to be told how to play unless they're ready to be told more about how to run their servers.

I asked for a duel with buffs, wurren refused to, it would only prove who had best buffs. By saying that he admits that he can actually lose vs me with buffs.

It does not exaktly take a nobelprice winner in science to figure out what will happen when i duel unbuffed vs a spear hero, the fact that he can increase his hp with 50% at will is good enough reason to never duel a spear hero unbuffed, however i gladly fight with both players buffed just name the place and time.

I was not running off i told no duel since you repeatedly where killing my buffer.

And regarding my name i can't say i get a excited when i see yours either, i can't even pronounce it in my own language try something in english that all can understand your name is like chineese to me.

I was there that night..i was duel a lot maybe 40 duels if i remember corect...

i win 15 times...i kill 4-5 times some accidently or because the fight was even till the end...i duel with Novamir also...2 times and noone get killed...

i think i lost the first (40% hps myself 50%Novamir) and even the second(both in 50% hps)..I WAS TOTALLY UNBUFFED AND UNGROUP ALL THE TIME I DUELING...

i dont know about others...i really like duels like test of strength..i personally believe that duel must go all the way..
I dont now why Novamir refer to my name in such an insalting way..i have 42k rps i dont rvr all day like many others and i am 50 for 2 weeks now...
