Wheaties are still around today. They are like tubes, bacon flavoured

They're called Wheat Crunchies now. They are in Smokey Bacon, Tomato and BBQ Flavours. They rock :D

Salt and Vinegar, also - although I'm thinking of having them on trade descriptions, as they should clearly be "Hydrochloric Acid flavoured Wheat Crunchies"

I found some Drumsticks for sale in the shop at work. They don't have Sherbert in the middle now like they used to when I was a kid :( :( :(

Oh man, this is one of the best topics in ages. :)

All this talk brings back memories of buying tons of confectionary and other stuff with your pocket money and school dinner money. Hehe! God, I really used to look forward to weekends, so I could bomb down the local sweet shop, or off to Woolworths to raid the Pick 'n' Mix :)

I was amazed that they still sell Space Raiders - I saw a discarded box a couple of days ago, and it had "10p" on the side. Wow, they haven't changed price in all that time?!

Some of my most memorable sweets/confectionary:

Midget Gems
Cola/Milk Bottles
Cola Cubes
Spangles
Sherbert Dip
Space Dust (With a swig of Coca Cola.. lol!)
Curly Wurlies (Still on sale!)
Toblarone (Still on sale)
Space Raiders
Monster Munch (Original and Pickled Onion - Superb!)
Garibaldi biscuits
Icecream floats
Beef and Tomato flavour Crisps (Can't remember the brand)
Mini Eggs
..

Lots of others as well, but those are my most memorable. ;)

ATOMIC FIREBALLS!!!!!! Anyone brave enough to scoff a packet would have to have their mouth reattatched by cosmetic surgery, which also reminds me of Eye Poppers - HARDCORE, but nice :).

And Monster Munch is 0wnage :).

If there's one sweet I still go back to though, it's red liquorice. Pure scarlet class... :D
