yesterday I dreamt I was in the armed forces and we were doing a parachute drop on an unknown country. all my friends were also in my unit, and we landed in a huge firefight. even though we got pretty carved up we all managed to survive until I realised my gf had died.

I don't generally dream, and its a good thing judging by the weird dreams you lot have, this however is funny:

Two guys and a girl are stranded in the woods. They come upon an old abandoned cabin and decide to spend the night. There is only one king-size bed in the middle of the cabin so all three decide to sleep in it. For added security, the woman decides to sleep between both men.

When they wake up in the morning, they all claim to have had weird dreams. The guy that slept on the left side says, "Man, I had this crazy dream that I kept getting wanked off."

The guy on the right says, "Really? Me too."

They ask the girl in the middle if she had the same dream and she said, "Nope. But I did have this really strange dream that I was skiing."

i was living at the border of mexico and north america.
somehow i was involved in an assination gang.

to get to somewhere we always drove the exact same path over a hilly desert in a jeep.
think i killed about 3 people and the next thing i know im in a crowd of people for some reason.
i get arrested because i am english and we didnt help this certain country during a conflict.
so i am in prison and this dude i been working with kills the prison guard and we drive off over the hilly desert and he explains in detail why they dont like english people.

last night i was in some kind of monster film.

oh another one i had last week, i was actually inside call of duty 2.

i have a chinese medicine woman interpret all my dreams. amazingly, everything she says is spot on about how things are the moment. just one example the other night i dreamt of finding a dull gold stone in my stomach.
i asked her what it meant and she said "gold means an ilness but as it is dull it wont be serious".
and yep, i was ill for 2 days with a bad stomach. i should add she didnt know i was ill before i spoke to her so it wasnt like she could make shit up just to relate it to something thats happening.

Well, since commencing nicorette patches, my dreams have become completely out of control. I had to go and change my patches to the 16 hour ones, because these dreams actually bruised my sanity, and I love a weird dream as much as the next person.

1. I went to Rainbows End, and Mariah Carey was there, singing to orphans. Then I suddenly appeared back at Kenny's parents house, except I was wearing a skirt and some knickers made from a swarm of bees. Then I found a portal to six other universes upstairs in the attic, fought a monster, and got stuck in a chimney.
2. My cat Ula was secretly a member of the french resistance, supplying cheap, affordable housing to the repressed masses. I was so proud that my cat could do this that I told her neighbour, who betrayed us and told the secrets of Ula's work to the hotel chain. We went on the run to Reading festival, where people stayed in tractors instead of tents. Ula did not meow, or talk english - she simply would look at me and twitch her whiskers, and I would understand.
3. Brian Blessed was dying, and Morgan Freeman asked me if I could be his spirit guide to help him onto the other plane. The girl they had wanted as his spirit guide, Morgan explained, was sacked when it was discovered that she was two twins, one evil, one good. I fought her, and Brian Blessed lived.

i had another one last night. i had moved into a new house. i was outside because it was snowing. this girl who i apparently knew when i was younger (in my 'dream life') appeared from no where. she threw something on a garden and said "ok i know its old". i was like come inside i can give you a better one. so we go upstairs and one of my old school friends has moved into my bedroom. he was living their untill his mother said he can move out again.

i still thought wtf when i woke up.

I used to have a recurring dream about an insect, something like a praying mantis, that would terrorize me in my house between my ~7th and 9th year. the thing itself didn't do much but it was teh evil. it could make the weather change and wind blow the windows in, causing the curtains to lie flat against the ceiling and doors to open and shut by themselves. all the while this was happening it would taunt me and laugh at me.
the final dream I had of it the insect was doing it's usual scary shit when I managed to catch it in my hands. iirc I told it to leave me alone or I'd make sure it would never harm me again. then I crushed it in my hands causing a dark green mess to squirt through my fingers. immediately the curtains dropped from lying flat against the ceiling to normal hanging and the dark clouds in the sky cleared allowing the sun to shine through.

Probably. I wouldn't know as I haven't worked there for months, but fat alcoholics would certainly be a key demographic.

Well, since commencing nicorette patches, my dreams have become completely out of control.

I started 24 hour patches last wednesday and since then I've also noticed that my dreams have become rather vivid. In fact, I had one the other night that was so amazing I considered writing it down. I wish I had now, as I can't remember any of it.

I'm enjoying this as I don't usually remember my dreams. Think I may stick with these patches longer than I need to

The patches are helping with the actual physical cravings. Something I got after about 5 hours without patches. I'm prefering the 24 hour patches to as it means I'm not waiting for a new patch to kick in, in the morning because I've had no nicotine running through me for a few hours while sleeping.

It's the mental cravings that are the worst. Had last week off, and sitting at home, playing the 360 and watching some films, it was quite easy not to smoke.

But breaking the routine of two fags on the walk to work, around 3 breaks during the day and a fag on the way home has ben about a billion, trillion, cagillion times harder.

It's day 2 today of not smoking at work and it's getting easier. But I still finish doing something and go to get my coat to go outside for a smoke.

After nearly 9 years of smoking though, I really want to quit, and I'm finally in a situation in my life where I feel it's possible.

Yeah, y'see that's why I'm not bothering with the patches; I don't really get that much of a physical craving, its all in my head. I think smoking was as much about having something to do with my hands as anything else. This morning, just before I woke up, I had two dreams in sequence that were, quite literally, adverts. My dreams were trying to sell me fictional products. And no, as I told a friend of mine, there were no TVs on anywhere nearby. This was a purely spontaneous brain decision that, for some reason, my subconscious needed to be sold products to. Maybe it was during a break.

Seriously, I would like to see someone top that.

Just to clarify, there was no 'I' in my dreams - 'I' as an entity didn't actually exist insofar as the dream scenario. The dreams themselves were wholly and literally adverts.

I have a lot of dreams where 'I' don't actually feature. It seems unusual.
