Dream Server Map Rotation

Maybe it's just me, but maybe I can gain some support for an idea I've had for some time.

At the moment it seems that the most popular UK server is the Barrysworld Base CTF Server, wit hother BW servers typically being fairly desserted.

I think this is down to the map rotation more than anything, the Balanced and Opencall server has some nice maps but there are also a number of crap maps too which means people just don't play on them.

What I would like to see is a "BW CTF Cocktail Server", with the following map list. If BW could also ensure that this box gets the same internet feed as BW Base CTF I'm sure BW will get more ppl on their servers.

So, here's my all time fav map list, let me know what you think, none of these need any more client downloads than the latest patch.

Ive already done something similiar on the new Wireplay Advanced ctf server.

theres basic base maps some balanced canyon from open call and one of the best maps ive ever played on Flags of Death on there..
any others you wanna see in the rotation come let me know ill get them on for you..

the rotation is something like this..

Simoom
Stonehenge
Canyon Crusade
Iceridge
Midnight Mayem
Snowbling
Flags of death
Obfusication

At time of writing, the BW CTFbase, CTFcustom, C&H, and mods servers are all full.

Arena and Balanced&OpenCall are empty, so it looks like they require a revamp.

Suggestions welcome.

Its always full and we'd quite easily fill up another.

I'd like to agree with fusion on the extra base server and suggest one server with both the open call and balanced maps on it, as some are not that bad if you are looking to play something slightly different for a change.

I'd like to play the OpenCall missions but i don't think they'll replace the base ones because everyone's so familiar with them. But as someone said in another topic change the player numbers on these big maps then that could change. I'd certainly wanna play them for sure

Well the 2 BW Base servers were pretty much always full yesterday when I was playing.

However, what is the current Map rotation on the servers? I saw way too much of Broadside yesterday -that's mebbe cuz I logged in after the other maps had gone but something must be up. I'm sick of that map now, it sux ass.

Gotta say, I agree. Lots of good maps out there, Broadside/Blastside isn't one of them.After this seasons inclusions of Canyon Crusade and Simoon, maybe they'd be more familiar to peeps, who'd be more likely to play them?
